# Eden — full reference for AI agents

> Eden is an AI content workspace for creators: outlier research across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Substack; voice-trained drafting; boards; scheduling and publishing; and private cross-platform analytics. This file is the deep reference behind https://eden.so/llms.txt — it documents how an agent connects to the Eden MCP server and every tool it exposes.

## Connect over MCP

- Endpoint: `https://mcp.eden.so/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, OAuth sign-in).
- Claude Code: `claude mcp add --transport http eden https://mcp.eden.so/mcp` then approve the OAuth prompt.
- Claude.ai / Claude Desktop: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the endpoint URL.
- Cursor, ChatGPT, and any other MCP client: add a remote MCP server with the same URL; Eden handles auth via OAuth.
- Tools are namespaced `eden_*`. Most are workspace-scoped; the connection's default workspace is used unless a `workspaceId` is passed.
- Every tool returns structured JSON. Failures come back as `{ ok: false, status, message }` — the status says whether to fix input, reconnect, or surface to the user. Never retry an `invalid` payload unchanged.
