Copied!

Move your notes and docs to Eden, we analyze all text, voice, and frames.

Before You Start

  • Use this as a fresh start — Only bring over what matters. Leave the clutter behind.

  • Stable internet connection — Especially important for larger exports.

  • Break up large imports — Bigger uploads are more likely to fail in a web browser. Export one section or database at a time if you have a lot of content.

How to Export from Notion

Notion exports pages as Markdown files and databases as CSVs — both work great in Eden.

To export a single page:

  1. Open the page you want to export in Notion.

  2. Click the ••• icon in the top-right corner of the page.

  3. Select Export from the dropdown menu.

  4. Choose "Markdown & CSV" as the export format.

  5. Check "Include subpages" if you want nested pages exported together.

  6. Click Export — Notion will download a .zip file to your computer.

  7. Unzip the folder — Extract the contents on your computer.

  8. Upload to Eden — Either:

  • Drag and drop files or folders directly into Eden, or

  • Click the + icon → Upload file or Upload folder

To export your entire workspace:

  1. Go to Settings in the left sidebar.

  2. Under the Workspace section, click Settings.

  3. Scroll down to find Export all workspace content.

  4. Select Markdown & CSV and click Export.

  5. Unzip the downloaded file and drag the contents into Eden.

Your folder structure will be preserved exactly as it was.

What File Types Come Out of Notion

  • Pages export as Markdown (.md) files — fully supported in Eden

  • Databases export as CSV files — fully supported in Eden

  • Images and attachments are included in the export folder alongside your notes

What Happens Next

Your files upload quickly so you can access them right away — no compression, no waiting. In the background, Eden automatically:

  • Transcribes audio and video

  • Analyzes video frames

  • Processes text for search

You can click the Activity tab at the bottom of the sidebar to view the progress of this. Once they're done, AI can reference all your files.

Supported File Types

Eden stores all file types. We currently render and analyze:

  • Images

  • Videos

  • PDFs

  • Word documents

  • HTML files

  • Markdown documents

  • CSV files

Support for more formats coming soon.

Thank you.
