✨ Additions

• Save AI Chats as Notes — Never lose a great conversation again. Hit the new "Create Note" icon in any chat to save it directly to your workspace as a permanent note.

• Fuzzy Search — Find what you're looking for even with typos. Search "episode 10" to find "ep 10", see highlighted matches, and folder results now show their parent folder. Works in Save To and Move To menus too.

• Drag and Drop — Now working in list view and with multi-select. Move items into folders from any view, drag between panes and the sidebar, with custom previews and stacking undo toasts for bulk moves.

• Gemini 3 Flash & GPT-5.2 — Two powerful new AI models available in the model selector.

• Support In Settings — New section in Settings under "Account" with a direct link to the help center.

• Search: Improved relevance sorting prioritizes title matches, exact words, and visual matches

• Command Menu: Recents section now actually updates, search works reliably, and you can press Tab to navigate directly into folders

• List Views: Smooth scrolling with optimized virtualization — no more lag

• Canvas: Significant performance improvements when working with many elements

• Video Player: Videos now play reliably — no more freezing or infinite spinners

• Video Thumbnails: High-res images now load faster with optimized lower-resolution thumbnails

• Chat Streaming: Replaced markdown renderer for smoother AI responses

• PDFs: Lightweight text extraction for unprocessed PDFs to access content sooner in an AI chat

• Canvas Notes: Creating a new note now auto-focuses the cursor so you can start typing immediately

• Duplicate Folders: You can now duplicate entire folders — great for templates and recurring projects

• Processing Modal: Click any item in the processing modal to navigate directly to it

• Multi-select: Selecting items in the sidebar no longer navigates away from your current view

🐞 Fixes

• AI Chat: Responses no longer pause when you switch to another screen

• Note Contents: Fixed an issue where opening certain notes would wipe their contents

• Tags: Tags now appear in search immediately after creation, inline tags link properly, and deleted tags no longer appear in dropdowns

• Canvas Chats: Chats connected to notes in canvas can now read and reference those notes correctly

• Video Playback: Fixed videos that were stuck on infinite loading spinners

• Video Keyframes: Keyframe thumbnails now match the actual video frame at each timestamp

• Copy/Paste: Copying text from chat no longer pastes as code

• Text Selection: You can now select specific lines in chat without auto-selecting everything above

• Upload Processing: Fixed "ghost" items getting stuck in the processing queue

• Drag Animation: Fixed flyback animation glitches when multi-selecting items

• App Crashes: Fixed a crash that occurred when drag-and-dropping nested folders onto themselves

• Task Modal: The processing modal no longer pops up randomly

• Copy/Paste Tags: You can now copy and paste tags and connections properly

• Profile Picture: Your avatar now displays correctly in Settings

• Downloads: Fixed download errors that were preventing note exports

Fixes & Improvements

• We've added more regions to our servers, specifically in Europe and Southeast Asia. We had some users experiencing slowness and difficulty uploading. This should be much better now and will only continue to get better.

• We've drafted around 30 general tutorials and articles that will be up on our website soon (many have been asking for this).

• Many were experiencing issues referencing PDFs in chats. At first, we thought it was a context issue, so we improved that. When it kept happening, we realized that people were using the "Best" model which would route to Claude 4.5 Haiku in some cases. This model has a limit of 100 pages for a PDF. This should be fixed.

  • As a side note, when referencing large files like PDFs or YouTube videos, consider using a model like Gemini. It's context limits are much higher than most Claude or GPT models.

  • We are also working on chat summarization and smarter context handling. That way if you reference large files, you can continue chatting beyond normal model context limits.

• Videos were uploading but the transcript wasn't displaying when you go into the video. This is now fixed.

• Video playback and loading issues have been fixed. When some would upload a video, it would show an infinite loading screen. If you were experiencing this issue, please delete the affected video and reupload it.

• We implimented a "level of detail" system in the canvas that renders a less detailed version the further you zoom out, and a more detailed version the more you zoom in. This helps with canvas lag a lot. However, canvases with many long chats are still lagging. We will continue to implement improvements for this.

• The command menu (CMD+K) experience should be a lot better. Various actions wouldn't work and occasionally returned irrelevant results. This applies to the canvas "Add From Workspace" button.

• General fixes around uploads, transcript reliability, and more have gone in.

• General fixes with YouTube videos not being read by a chat have gone in.

• Numerous fixes for individuals in support. Internally we've implemented a more efficient bug tracking and project management system to improve communications from users to our support team to our dev team.

Lastly, as requested, you are now able to drag and drop files and folders in your workspace. With this, we wanted to get this in quick. We are still working on being able to drag items from your sidebar into a canvas, and being able to multi-select and drag into a folder.

Fixes & Improvements

• When using the AI option inside of a note (highlighting text and using the AI button in the formatting menu), the space bar would not work so you couldn't type more than one word. This is fixed!

  • For those that don't know this is here, this is how you can ask for revisions or help on specific sentences or paragraphs in a note.

  • Highlight text in a note, then click the far left AI icon.

• Previously you could not change your payment method. You can now do this in Settings > Billing > Payment Methods

• Some users have been experiencing canvas issues like lag or very slow load times on the canvas. Fixes will be rolling out for these tonight, so check back in tomorrow!

• Many people have experienced errors when attempting to chat with AI. When we see our logs, these issues are mostly due to the files being out of context.

  • As an example, referencing multiple 6 hour long YouTube videos is widely out of context for most models, especially Claude.

  • We will be implementing more UX changes to notify users when this happens so that they are able to switch to a higher context model, like Gemini.

  • Down the road, we will implement functionality that will be able to summarize and "chunk" down this context, but that ultimately leads to less accurate answers. Rule of thumb: If you want full accuracy, be mindful of how large the files are that you reference in a chat.

• PDF support in chats has been fixed. Please be mindful of context, and consider using Gemini models if the file is large.

• Small improvements for the AI chat like general styling and being able to hit shift+enter in the input have gone in.

• Canvas templates should display a loading screen now, preventing users from pressing the template button multiple times.

• Many minor quality of life fixes that will probably go unseen, but lead to a better experience.

• Faster YouTube preview loading, with the transcript accessible to chats before the full transcript is downloaded on our end.

• Known issues for today:

  • Our proxy service has been extremely flaky, leading to spotty connections when attempting to download and transcribe from links. This will be fixed and stable soon.

  • Video uploads are working more reliable than before, but transcripts aren't always displaying on the front end. This will be resolved.

Fixes & Improvements

• The overall lag and slowdown has been resolved. Things should be much smoother.

• However, if you have greater than 500 items in your workspace, things start to slow down. We are working on this as we speak!

• The issue where YouTube thumbnails load in as black on your Home or Search grid is now resolved.

• All of your chats now show up in the Chat sidebar.

• Pasting links into your workspace, especially YouTube links, should be a lot smoother and reliable. We are continuing to make subtle improvements to this behavior across all links.

• We had a moment where chats could not see what is inside of your notes (in the normal chat view or on a canvas) – this is now resolved.

• General canvas performance improvements are in, and the experience is more reliable.

• The canvas templates are now loading faster and the videos included in them no longer look blank.

• Pasting X posts or threads should now work smoothly.

We're continuing to make improvements all thoughout this week. We'll keep you updated as that happens.
