1) You can learn one of two skills: content or code.
Those are the two skills that give you leverage.
Code turns into software that can be used by millions of people.
Content, done correctly, turns one idea into millions of views.
Content is more important, because if nobody sees or cares about your work, you won't be paid for it.
And with AI, anyone can code. But that doesn't mean anyone will use it.
With code, you grade it on the result it provides. It doesn't really matter how the code is written, as long as it works.
With content, you grade it on how it makes you feel. It's subjective. AI can write as much content as you want, but that doesn't mean it's good.
In other words, content is more important, but you need education to do it right.
Telling AI to write everything for you will not build authority, and it definitely won't lead to meaningful work.
You must learn to use AI for the right things: research, idea generation, and beating the blank page. Never to think or write for you.
2) Your future employers, clients, and customers are already online.
Work is changing.
Employers are tired of sifting through terrible resumes. They reach out to the people displaying their value with a public resume: their content online.
