Get up and running with Eden in just a few minutes. This guide walks you through the essentials so you can start working right away.
Minute 1: Look Around
When you first open Eden, you'll see:
Sidebar (left) — Your folders and files live here
Main area (center) — Where you view and work with content
Quick create bar (top) — Fast access to create Notes, Canvas, Links, and upload files
Minute 2: Upload Something
Let's add your first file.
Click the + button in the top left
Select Upload
Choose a file from your computer (try a video or PDF)
Or simply drag and drop a file anywhere in the workspace.
Eden automatically transcribes videos and PDFs, analyzes frames, and tags your content — all in the background.
Minute 3: Add a Link
Paste a YouTube video or social post link:
Click Link in the quick create bar
Paste the URL
Choose a folder (or leave in root)
Click Save
Eden downloads and processes the content so you can search it, reference it with AI, and never lose it.
Minute 4: Try Visual Search
Now search for something you just uploaded:
Click the search bar (or press
/)Describe what you're looking for — like "person wearing blue shirt" or "when they talk about pricing"
See results from video frames, transcripts, and files
This is different from traditional search. You're searching what's in your content, not just file names.
Minute 5: Create Your First Canvas
Canvas is where everything comes together:
Click the + button in the top left
Select Canvas
Name it and choose a folder
Drag items from your sidebar onto the canvas
Add an AI chat and connect items to it
Now you can ask AI questions about your content — it already has full context from everything you've connected.
