Running a prompt

From the chat slash menu

   Type / in the chat composer

   The menu opens with Prompts and Identities. Prompts shows first, grouped by category.

   Pick the prompt you want

   Click it (or arrow-key + Enter). The prompt's instructions are now active for this chat.

   Give it your input

   Most prompts wait for you to provide something first - a topic, a URL, a piece of writing. The chat box shows a hint for what to paste or @ mention. Some prompts open the conversation themselves and start by asking you a question.

From the Prompts page

Open the Prompts tab, find the prompt, and use its Run action. This opens a fresh chat with that prompt active, ready for your input.

What happens when it runs

• Input-driven prompts wait for you. The composer hint tells you what to give it (e.g. "Paste the YouTube URL you want to study..."). Nothing runs until you send.
• Opening prompts start the conversation themselves - they'll greet you and ask for what they need, then proceed.

Either way, once it has what it needs, it does the task and replies.

Your output is usually a saveable draft

Most prompts that produce a deliverable - a post, a thread, a guide, a customer avatar, a script - return it as a Save to board card rather than plain chat text. Click the card's save button to keep it as a note on a board you pick. Prompts that produce a batch of short posts render them as separate cards you can insert one at a time or save all at once.

Switching or stopping

To run a different prompt, just open / and pick another - it replaces the active one for that chat. To go back to a normal chat, start a new chat from the chat selector at the top.

Pinning your favorites

Prompts you run often can be pinned so they appear on the chat's empty-state screen for one-click access. Pin a custom prompt from its card on the Prompts page.
