Connect your email list to your store

Connecting an email provider is included with Starter, Pro, and Studio. On Free, the Integrations tab shows Upgrade to Starter; everything else in your store still works.

Connect Kit, beehiiv, or GoHighLevel

Open Store → Integrations and choose Connect next to your provider.

For Kit, authorize your account if that option is available, or paste a V4 API key from Kit’s developer settings. For beehiiv, paste an API key with access to your publications and subscriptions. Your provider account must include access to the relevant API features.

For GoHighLevel, open the sub-account you want buyers added to, go to Settings → Private Integrations, and create a token with the contacts read, contacts write, and locations read scopes. Paste that token, then paste the sub-account’s Location ID from Settings → Business Profile. Eden checks that the token can read that location before saving.

Choose the destination and select Connect and turn on. Eden encrypts the credential on its server. The key is not shown again after saving.

Choose what gets added

Each connection lets you select Paid buyers, Free claims, and Newsletter signups. You can add an optional tag and choose whether Eden also tags each product. Select Save settings after making changes.

Buyers see an optional newsletter checkbox naming you on the product page. It starts unchecked. Eden records their choice when they purchase or claim the product. Newsletter blocks on your creator page also work with the connected list.

Someone who previously unsubscribed is not automatically resubscribed when they buy again. beehiiv’s existing double opt-in settings still apply, so a new subscriber may need to confirm before receiving your newsletter. Eden does not grant a paid newsletter subscription or send a separate welcome email.

In GoHighLevel, each buyer becomes a contact in the connected sub-account with the source Eden, and Eden adds the tags to that contact. A contact marked do not disturb for email keeps that setting and is not tagged, so your tag-triggered workflows never fire for someone who opted out.

Import existing buyers

Select Import existing buyers to preview eligible purchases. Only buyers with a recorded newsletter opt-in and a selected source are included. Older purchases without that record are excluded.

Select Start import to queue the import. It continues in the background and can resume after a restart. You can follow how many purchases have been checked and how many deliveries were queued. Purchases already synced are skipped, and multiple purchases from one email update the same provider subscriber.

Large previews show the first 10,000 purchases and say when more remain. The import checks the full purchase history as of its start.

Check sync status

The connection shows how many deliveries synced, are waiting, need attention, or were skipped. Recent activity explains the latest results, including subscribers awaiting provider confirmation. Counts cover the most recent 5,000 deliveries when the list is larger.

Temporary provider failures retry automatically. If a connection needs attention, reconnect it and select Retry failed syncs. A retry action queues up to 200 failed deliveries; repeat it if more remain.

Turning off automatic sync pauses pending work. Disconnecting stops pending syncs and removes the saved credential. Neither action removes subscribers already on your list. To switch to another account or publication, disconnect the old destination first.

A refund before a buyer has synced prevents that delivery. A refund after they join your list does not unsubscribe them. Product tags record their purchase history; the optional webhook also sends refund events.

Use Substack

Select Check Substack account in the Substack card. Eden checks the account currently signed in through your Eden desktop app or Chrome extension. Your existing publishing connection is not selected automatically.

Check the displayed account, choose a publication, and select Review import. When the account, publication, and email count look right, select Import subscribers. Only buyers with recorded opt-in and newsletter signups are included. Each import sends up to 100 emails in small batches. To import more, review and start another batch.

If you're signed out, select Open Substack, sign in to the intended account in the same app or browser, then return and check the account again. If the account changes or Eden cannot verify publication access, it stops without sending that batch. This requires an updated Eden app or extension.

Imports only run while you keep this page open. Stop import finishes the current batch and stops. Nothing syncs automatically in the background. Eden requests free subscribers without welcome emails; Substack may review the list before adding them.

Emails already submitted through Eden are skipped on later imports into the same publication. If a request is interrupted and its result is unknown, those emails are held back to avoid sending them twice. Select Download held emails, compare them with your Substack Subscribers page, and add any missing addresses manually.

You can also select Export buyers as CSV and follow Substack’s import instructions.

Connect other tools

The Other tools section keeps the webhook integration for Zapier, Make, n8n, and other destinations. Purchase events include newsletterOptIn and, when provided, newsletterConsent. Filter for newsletterOptIn: true before subscribing a buyer to marketing emails.
