Can Eden replace ManyChat?
For a straightforward Instagram comment-to-DM workflow, Eden can cover the trigger, prepared message, optional public reply, and tracked link. It does not replace ManyChat’s branching flows, contact segmentation, multi-channel messaging, or AI conversations. Those are reasons to keep ManyChat.
Is Instagram Auto-DM included in Eden’s free plan?
No. Auto-DM requires Pro ($79/month) or Max. Each DM actually sent uses 1 credit. Pro includes 750 monthly credits shared with AI chat, research, and other credit-based tools, so that is not a separate allowance of 750 DMs. Public comment replies do not consume DM credits.
How does usage pricing differ?
Eden meters sent DMs: each uses 1 credit, and DM automations pause if credits run out. ManyChat’s newer plans meter Active Contacts within a billing month, with paid overages above the plan allowance. Multiple messages to the same contact still count as one Active Contact that month. Older ManyChat accounts may remain on legacy pricing. Neither product is universally cheaper; compare your actual usage and the other tools you need.
Does Eden automatically DM new Instagram followers?
No. Eden supports comment keywords, story replies, incoming DM keywords, and DM reactions, plus public comment replies. ManyChat offers Follow to DM in beta for eligible Instagram accounts; access depends on Meta eligibility and the required Instagram connection.
