Hypefury, which bought the tool from Tony Dinh in May 2023, wound it down: subscriptions were cancelled automatically, prorated refunds were offered through [email protected], and the extensions and apps stopped working. The 2023 repricing put BlackMagic's API bill at roughly $42,000 a month against about $14,000 in monthly revenue, which forced the sale, and in February 2026 X moved API access to pay-per-use credits, which kept squeezing every single-platform tool.
