Skool is a paid community with a classroom attached: posts, live calls, leaderboards, and you at the center of it every day. Eden sells the knowledge itself: a Custom AI built from your course that answers each buyer one-on-one, from a page at your handle, paid through your Stripe.

Skool is the best place to sell a community: posts, live calls, a classroom, and leaderboards for $99 a month plus 2.9%, or $9 plus 10%. It works because you show up. Eden has no community and sells something Skool can't: your knowledge as an AI that coaches every buyer for you, one-on-one, in your voice, at midnight, without you. Pick Skool if the group is the product. Pick Eden if what you sell is what you know.
Your lessons become the AI. Modules from your workspace, in order, with progress. Publish and Eden writes the notes the AI needs to open the right lesson for every question.
It answers so you don't have to. In a community, every question waits for you or a moderator. Here the buyer asks, the AI answers from lesson 3.1 in your voice, and you are asleep.
Three shapes, your price. An AI tool, an AI with a library, or a course taught by AI. Paid from $1 or free, with discount codes and a was-price when you want them.
Every buyer gets an Eden workspace. The lessons, the chat, their notes and highlights, on the web and in the iOS and Android apps. Their work stays theirs, not a thread in your feed.
Works in the AI they already pay for. Add the Eden MCP to Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor and the product shows up there, knowledge included. Loading it costs the buyer nothing.
Templates they can copy. Boards, tables, and docs in your product become templates. One click and the buyer has their own copy to fill in, and your AI can work on it.
Ask The 2 Hour Writer to outline this week's letter from my saves.. Run today's idea through the Unique Perspective shape.. Which lesson covers post structures? Summarize it.
A storefront, not a group page. Your page lives at your handle with your photo, bio, and every product, plus links, a video, a welcome note, and an email capture in the order you choose.
Seven designs, one accent. Studio, Paper, Poster, Retro, Synthwave, Minimal, Bloom. Pick one, set the color, and the page and your product pages match.
Page views and top clicks. See who came and what they tapped. The Built on Eden badge at the bottom carries your referral code, so signups from your page pay you too.
A flat 5%, no $99 a month for the low fee. Skool charges 10% on Hobby or $99 a month for 2.9% on Pro. Eden takes 5% on every sale, and the $29 Starter plan is the workspace you already work in.
Straight to your Stripe account. Connect once. Buyers pay through your account, so the money is yours the moment it lands, and refunds and payouts live in Stripe.
Every buyer becomes a referral. When a buyer upgrades their Eden plan, you earn 20% of every payment for as long as they stay. 22.5% at 50 active referrals, 25% at 150, 30% at 500.

After the monthly plan and the platform fee. Payment processing comes out on both sides and is left out here.
Skool's $9 Hobby plan is cheaper under about $400 a month in sales. From there to about $3,300 a month Eden keeps more, and past that Skool Pro's 2.9% wins on fees. Either way the $29 is the workspace you already work in, and you earn 20% of every Eden plan your buyers go on to pay for.
Pick Skool if the group is the product: cohorts, live calls, accountability, a room people pay to be in. Nothing else does community this well, and it rewards showing up every day.
Pick Eden if what you sell is what you know and you don't want to run a room every day. Your course becomes an AI buyers can ask, your page lives next to your notes and your scheduler, and the people who buy from you become subscribers who pay you back.
Import your members. Export your members from Skool, upload the CSV, choose up to ten products, and everyone gets lifetime access. Send access emails, or stay quiet until launch.
Bring your testimonials. The wins people posted in your group import as reviews with their original date and source, and wait in your queue until you approve them.
Keep the group if you want it. Sell the course as an AI on Eden and keep Skool for the calls. Link both from your Eden page, and nobody who already bought loses anything.

Skool is $9 plus 10% or $99 plus 2.9%. Eden's Starter is $29 plus 5%, and it is the same plan that runs your whole workspace. Under about $400 a month Skool Hobby is cheapest, from there to about $3,300 Eden keeps the most, and past that Skool Pro's fee wins.
Only if you are selling knowledge rather than a community. Eden gives you a page at your handle, a Stripe checkout at a flat 5%, customer import, and reviews, and adds a Custom AI built from your course that buyers can talk to. It has no posts, live calls, or leaderboards, so if the group is what people pay for, stay on Skool.

No. Eden products are one-time purchases of a Custom AI, a course taught by AI, or an AI with a library. There are no posts, live calls, memberships, or leaderboards. Many creators sell the course as an AI on Eden and keep a Skool group for the calls, linked from the same Eden page.

No. As of September 2026 Skool has no public API and no MCP server of its own; the third-party Skool MCP servers you will find run on reverse-engineered endpoints with your login. Eden's MCP is official and reads and writes: it drafts products, edits your page, looks up customers, resends access emails, and reports sales, and buyers use it to load what they bought into Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
The page, the checkout, and an AI that teaches it. From $29 a month, 5% per sale.
