How fast does the DM go out?
Usually within a minute. Messages send after a short natural delay of 20 to 60 seconds rather than instantly, which reads as human and keeps your account clear of spam flags. A very viral post may deliver over a longer window, because Instagram limits how many DMs an account can send per hour.
What can start a DM?
Five triggers. Someone comments a keyword on your post, replies to any of your stories, sends you a DM with a keyword, or reacts to one of your DMs. The fifth posts a public reply to a matching comment instead of a DM.
What does it cost?
Auto-DM is included on Pro and Studio plans. Each DM an automation actually sends costs 1 credit. Creating automations, watching posts, and public comment replies are free. If your workspace runs out of credits your automations pause and resume on their own once credits refill.
Can I see who clicked my link?
You see the numbers, not the people. Each automation card shows how many clicks the link got, along with sends and replies. Individual recipients are never identified.
Will someone get the same DM over and over?
No. The same person will not receive the same automation's DM twice within seven days, no matter how many times they comment.
Which posts does a comment automation watch?
You choose: one specific post, your next post, or every new post. With every new post, Eden keeps your most recent posts armed and retires the oldest ones as new posts come in, since old posts get almost no new comments.
Can links use my own domain?
Yes, on Pro and Studio. Tracked links use edn.so by default. Connect a subdomain you own, like go.yourbrand.com, add one DNS record, and new tracked links carry your brand with a link reputation that's yours.
