Meet coaching clients on Zoom
Connect Zoom so every coaching call booked with you gets its own Zoom meeting, moved or deleted with the call.
If you sell coaching on Eden and your clients book calls on Eden's own booking page, you can meet them on Zoom. Connect your Zoom account once. After that, every call a client books gets its own Zoom meeting on your account. When the call moves, the meeting moves. When the call is canceled, the meeting is deleted.
What you need first
- A coaching product that uses Eden scheduling to take bookings (the product's Coaching step, under Booking → How clients book).
- Google Calendar connected in Your store → Integrations → Scheduling. Eden puts each booked call on your calendar and checks it for busy times.
- A Zoom account. Any plan works. On Zoom's free Basic plan, meetings end after 40 minutes, so pick a paid Zoom plan if your calls run longer.
Adding the app
- Open Your store → Integrations.
- Under Scheduling, find the Zoom card and click Connect Zoom.
- Zoom opens and asks you to sign in. Sign in with the Zoom account you want your meetings on.
- Zoom shows what Eden asks for. Click Allow.
- You're back in Eden. The Zoom card says Connected as and your Zoom email.
- Open your coaching product, go to the Coaching step, and under Where you meet pick Zoom. Click Save draft or Publish.
Using it
- A client books a call. Eden makes a Zoom meeting on your account for that time. The Zoom link goes on the Google Calendar invite, on the client's booking confirmation, and on the call in their coaching space in Eden.
- A call moves. When you or your client moves the call, Eden changes the time of the same Zoom meeting. The link stays the same.
- A call is canceled. Eden deletes that Zoom meeting.
- Zoom stops working. If Zoom stops letting Eden in (for example, you changed your Zoom password or removed Eden in Zoom), new calls use Google Meet so clients can still book. The Zoom card turns red and shows Reconnect.
Eden only touches the meetings it made for your booked calls. It never reads or changes your other Zoom meetings.
What Eden can see and store
Eden asks Zoom for four things, and nothing else:
- Create a meeting, update a meeting, and delete a meeting, for the calls booked with you.
- View a user, to show which Zoom account is connected.
Eden stores the join link of each meeting it made, next to the booked call. Your Zoom access is stored encrypted. Eden never sees your Zoom password, recordings, chats, or who joined. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Removing the app
You can remove Zoom from Eden, or remove Eden from Zoom. Either way works.
From Eden:
- Open Your store → Integrations.
- On the Zoom card, click Disconnect and confirm.
From Zoom:
- Sign in at marketplace.zoom.us.
- Click Manage, then Added Apps.
- Find Eden and click Remove.
What happens next:
- Eden deletes your Zoom access right away and stops making Zoom meetings.
- Your coaching products switch Where you meet back to Google Meet, so new calls get a Meet link.
- Zoom meetings Eden already made stay in your Zoom account. Delete them in Zoom if you don't want them.
