Eden vs Calendly

Calendly books the call. Eden books it next to everything else you sell.

Calendly is the default booking link, and it's great at it. Eden gives a solo coach the same basics, one link per kind of call, your Google Calendar with a Meet link, emails, reminders, and self-serve moves, and puts those calls on your store beside your courses, coaching, and AI.

The short version

Checked September 30, 2026

Calendly is the most familiar booking link there is, with more calendars, more questions, and real team features, and paid calls from $10 a month with no fee listed. Eden covers what a solo coach needs to take calls, with more than one kind of call on the free plan and reminders included, and puts every call on your store next to your courses, coaching, and AI. Pick Calendly if you book for a team. Pick Eden if calls are part of what you sell.

01 · Where calls live

Your calls sit next to what you sell.

  • On your store page. Each call type shows as a card with a Book button, beside your courses, coaching, and Custom AIs.

  • From your content and DMs. Auto-DM replies and content links can open a call's booking page, and paid bookings count toward them.

  • Calendly is a link on its own. It can take a payment, sell prepaid meeting packages, and send invoices. Courses, downloads, and a store live in another tool.

02 · Kinds of call

More than one kind of call, on the free plan.

  • Up to 20 call types. A free intro call, a paid strategy session, a sales call for applicants. Each has its own link.

  • One set of hours for all of them. Every call type books into the same week, so nothing double books. A call type can narrow it to certain days.

  • Calendly Free has one. One event type and one calendar. More kinds of call start on Standard at $10 a month.

04 · After they book

Emails and reminders, included.

  • Every change, by email. Booked, moved, or canceled, with what, when, who, and where. You get their answers when they book.

  • Reminders on every plan. A day before and an hour before the call. On Calendly, reminders and workflows start on Standard.

  • They fix it themselves. Move or cancel from their email, up to the cutoff you set. Both tools do this.

What Calendly does well

  • The booking link everyone already knows. Nobody has to learn how to book you.
  • More calendars: Google, Outlook, and Exchange, with up to six connected on paid plans.
  • Real team scheduling: round robin, routing forms, and team pages from $16 a seat.

The wedge

What Eden does that Calendly doesn't

  • More than one kind of call on the free plan, with emails and reminders included.
  • Calls on your store, next to your courses, coaching, and Custom AIs, on one calendar.
  • Coaching packages with applications, intake, a private space per client, and an AI between calls.
  • Store discount codes, sales, Auto-DM, and content links that all work on calls.
Honest recommendation

Pick the tool that fits the work in front of you.

Pick Calendly if

If you need routing forms or round robin, use Outlook, or just want the cheapest way to charge for a call, Calendly is the right tool.

Pick Eden if

If you're a solo coach or creator and calls are part of what you sell, Eden books them on your Google Calendar and puts them on your store next to your courses, coaching, and AI.

Moving over

Copy your hours, then swap the links.

  • Connect Google Calendar. Pick the calendars that count as busy and the one new calls go on.

  • One call type per event type. Match the length, price, and questions. Set your weekly hours and booking rules once.

  • Keep Calendly for coaching if you like. A coaching product can still use your Calendly link, and those calls show up in your Calendar tab.

FAQ

Eden vs Calendly, common questions.

Can Eden replace Calendly?

For a solo coach or creator, yes. Make a call type for each kind of call, share its link, and people book into your Google Calendar with a Meet link. They get emails and reminders, and they can move or cancel on their own. If you need round robin or routing forms, or use Outlook, keep Calendly.

Is Eden cheaper than Calendly?

For free calls, yes: Eden's free plan takes more than one kind of call and includes reminders, and Calendly Free has one event type with reminders on Standard. For paid calls, Calendly Standard is $10 a month with no fee listed, and Eden is $29 a month on Starter plus 5% of each paid call.

Does Eden work with Outlook?

Not yet. Eden connects one Google account and checks the calendars you pick for conflicts. Calendly connects Google, Outlook, and Exchange.

Does Eden work with Zoom?

Each booked call gets its own Google Meet link, or you can use your own meeting link, like your personal Zoom room, for every call.

Can I keep using Calendly with Eden?

Yes. A coaching product can use your Calendly link, and when you connect Calendly, booked, moved, and canceled calls show up on the right client and in your Calendar tab.

Does Calendly have an MCP server?

Yes. Calendly announced an official MCP server on March 11, 2026, at mcp.calendly.com, for AI assistants like Claude and ChatGPT. Eden's MCP manages your calendar too: it lists your calls, sets your hours, takes time off, and creates or changes call types, alongside your products, customers, and content.
