Use your own checkout
Sell a product through PayPal, Gumroad, Paystack, or another checkout you already use, and give buyers access on Eden automatically.
Open your product's Offer step and pick My own checkout link under Take payment with. Paste your payment link, then connect sales so Eden gives each buyer access. Eden takes no cut.
Set it up
- 01
Add the payment link
In Your store → Products, open the product and go to Offer. Pick My own checkout link and paste the link buyers pay at. Eden shows which checkout it found, like PayPal link. If your checkout is connected, you can pick the product from a list instead.
- 02
Send buyers back to Eden
Click Copy link and paste it into your checkout's redirect or success setting. The step tells you where, in your checkout's own words. If it says Done, skip it.
- 03
Give buyers access when they pay
Connect your checkout directly, or use Zapier. Skip this and people pay but never get the product.
- 04
Publish the product
Sales only give access once the product is live.
You can also ask Eden chat or your AI app, like "sell my course through my PayPal link". Steps 2 and 3 still happen on the Offer step.

The full list also covers Instamojo, Mercado Pago, Xendit, PayMongo, Podia, Shopify, Buy Me a Coffee, and Stripe Payment Links from your own Stripe account. Links from any other site are refused. Click See the list under the link box to check.
Connect Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, or Whop
Connect once and every sale there gives access. No Zapier.
- Click Connect Gumroad (or your checkout's name) under step 3, or go to Your store → Integrations → Your checkout.
- Make a key in your checkout. The steps show where: Lemon Squeezy Settings → API, Gumroad Settings → Advanced → Applications, Whop Developer → Account API Keys.
- Paste it and click Connect. You'll see your store name and Connected.
Connect SamCart
SamCart has no key to paste. You give it Eden's address instead.
- Click Connect SamCart under step 3, or Connect next to SamCart in Your store → Integrations.
- In SamCart, open Apps, search for Webhooks, and click Install.
- Click Copy address in Eden and use it as the webhook address.
- Add a Global rule for each event: Product Purchased, Upsell Purchased, Product Refunded, Subscription Charged, Subscription Charge Failed, Subscription Canceled, and Subscription Restarted. Save.
SamCart turns green in Eden once the first sale arrives. Only selling one-time products? The first three events are enough.
Eden matches each sale to a product by its payment link, so give each product its own link. With SamCart, a sale matches when the link still ends in the slug SamCart made from the product name. If you changed it, pick the product once for its first sale. A sale that matches nothing waits under Sales waiting for a product. Pick the product and click Give access, or click Not an Eden product. Eden remembers your answer.
Use Zapier for other checkouts
- Under step 3, click Open Eden on Zapier.
- Make a Zap. The trigger is your checkout's new-sale event (see the table).
- Add Eden (Creator Platform) → Give Access, sign in, pick this product, and map Buyer Email.
- Click Test step, then turn the Zap on.
For refunds, make a second Zap with the Eden action Refund Sale. Selling several products in one checkout? Add a Filter step so each Zap only sends its product's sales. More in Use the Eden app on Zapier.
Using Make, or a checkout that can post to a web address? Click Use a sale address instead. POST the buyer's email to that address. Add event set to refund to remove access. Keep the address private.
Sell a membership
Pick Membership on the Offer step and fill in a monthly or a yearly price. Then set the same price and period in your checkout. With Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, or Whop connected, picking the product fills these in for you, and a note shows if they don't match.
- One price only. A monthly and yearly choice needs Eden checkout.
- Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad, and Whop track it for you once connected. Each renewal keeps access going. Eden checks with your checkout before any access runs out.
- SamCart tracks renewals, failed charges, and cancels once connected, if you added the subscription events. Eden can't check with SamCart, so a missed renewal ends access on the schedule below.
- Zapier checkouts need a Zap that runs on every payment, the first one and each renewal. Step 3 shows the Zaps your checkout needs, like one for when a membership ends.
- If no renewal arrives, access ends on its own: 3 days after a paid month, or 7 days after a paid year.
- A cancel keeps access until the paid time runs out. A refund ends access right away.
- Buyers change their card or cancel in your checkout, not in Eden.
What doesn't work on your own checkout
- Cohorts and coaching need Eden checkout.
- Eden checkout extras are off: order bumps, upsells, bundles, discount codes, the Eden offer, checkout questions, and included AI credits.
- Refunds, tax, and chargebacks stay in your checkout. You can still remove access in Customers.
- Publishing still needs Starter or above, like any paid product. You don't need Stripe.
- Connecting a checkout or Zapier needs Starter or above too. On other plans, Connect or Set up Zapier asks you to upgrade first.
Check that it's working
The status under step 3 reads Waiting for your first sale until one arrives, then Working. Last sale …. If a sale didn't give access, it says why. Sending the same sale twice is safe.
When something needs you, Integrations in your store menu shows a count and you get an email. Fix the cause, like publishing the product, then click Try again on the sale.
If a buyer used a different email
Access goes to the email the buyer paid with. They sign in to Eden with that email to open it. If they use another Eden account, they click Move it to this account on the page after paying and type the email they paid with. You can also add them yourself in Customers → Add customers → One customer.
To go back, pick Eden checkout under Take payment with. Buyers keep their access. Paid products on Eden checkout need a connected Stripe account.
Sell from a country that isn't listed
Stripe only supports sellers in certain countries. If yours isn't in the payout country list, sell through your own checkout, like PayPal or Paystack, or set up a business Stripe supports.
Use the Eden app on Zapier
Connect your store and workspace to thousands of apps, and give buyers access when they pay on any checkout Zapier supports.
