Courses. Lessons, video, and a tutor in every one.

Sell a course people actually finish.

  • Build lessons from docs you already have
  • Add video from YouTube, Loom, or an upload
  • Let an AI tutor explain every lesson
  • Run cohorts with dates, seats, and calls
  • Charge once or monthly, for 5% a sale
  • See who's stuck, and on which lesson
01 · Build it

Start from the docs you already wrote.

  • Sell this, then New course. Right-click any document in Eden and it becomes your first lesson.

  • Sections, in order. Group lessons into sections and drag to reorder. Students go through them in that order.

  • A welcome page first. Write a Start here page. It is the first thing students open.

  • Resources on the side. Templates, checklists, tables, and files sit next to the lessons and don't count toward progress.

02 · The AI tutor

A tutor that knows which lesson is open.

  • Chat beside the lesson. Students ask right where they're reading and get an answer in seconds.

  • It teaches your way. It answers from your lessons, transcripts, and notes.

  • It runs the exercise. It walks them through the task at the end of a lesson, one step at a time.

  • It checks their work. Students paste a draft, and it marks it against what the lesson taught.

  • Credits, handled. Students start with Eden's free credits. You can include more with the course at $0.04 each.

03 · What students get

Lessons in order. A checkmark on each.

  • Start here first. Your welcome page opens before lesson one.

  • Progress they can see. A lesson checks off when they open it. Done at the top unticks it.

  • Resources a click away. Templates open inside the course. Students can copy one into their own workspace or download it.

04 · Cohorts

Run it live, on real dates.

  • Dated runs. Set when each cohort starts and ends, in the time zone you pick.

  • Seats and a waitlist. Cap the seats. With the waitlist on, a full run shows Join the waitlist.

  • Lessons open on your schedule. All at the start, one section a week, or on dates you pick. The tutor can't read ahead either.

05 · Sell it

Price it your way. Add more to every sale.

  • One-time or membership. Charge once for lifetime access, or monthly and yearly.

  • Discount codes. Share a link that applies the code for the buyer. No typing.

  • Order bumps. A checkbox above Pay adds another of your products to the same payment.

  • Upsells. Up to three one-click offers right after they pay, on Pro.

06 · See who's stuck

Know who's stuck, and where.

  • Progress per student. Open a customer to see how many lessons they opened and when they were last active.

  • Every lesson, dated. See every lesson lists when they last opened each one, or Not opened.

  • Chats and credits. How many chats they started with the tutor, and what those chats cost.

  • Bring your students over. Import past buyers from a CSV and email everyone their access link.

Questions, answered

What course creators ask first.

How do I sell an online course on Eden?

Open Your store, go to Products, and click New product. Pick Custom AI for a course with an AI tutor, or Course for lessons on their own. Add lessons in sections, write a welcome page, set a price, and publish. You can also right-click any document in Eden and choose Sell this, then New course.

Can I sell a course without the AI?

Yes. Set Product type to Course on the Offer step. Students get your lessons in order with a checkmark on each, your welcome page, your resources, and the iPhone and Android apps. Switch Product type back any time to add the tutor.

Where do my course videos live?

Paste a YouTube, Loom, Vimeo, Tella, Descript, or Wistia link into a lesson, or upload the video file there. If the course has an AI tutor, paste the transcript under the video so the tutor can answer from it.

Can I charge monthly for a course?

Yes. On the Offer step, set How buyers pay to Membership and add a monthly price, a yearly price, or both. Members keep access while they pay. If they cancel, access lasts to the end of the period they paid for.

Can I run a cohort-based course?

Yes. Pick Cohort under New product. Set the dates, seats, a waitlist, and live sessions. Lessons can open all at once, one section a week, or on dates you pick. Students get an email a day before and an hour before each session, and a question thread for each call.

Can I move my students from another platform?

Yes. Export your students as a CSV, then go to Customers, Add customers, Import a list. Pick the courses they should get, upload the file, and choose whether to email everyone their access link. One import takes up to 50,000 people. Importing needs Starter, Pro, or Studio.

How is Eden different from Teachable or Kajabi?

All three host lessons and video and take payments. Eden also puts an AI tutor beside every lesson that knows what the student is reading. On price, Teachable Starter is $39 a month plus a 7.5% fee, and Kajabi Basic is $179 a month. Eden's Starter plan is $29 a month plus 5% per sale.

What does Eden charge to sell a course?

Building is free on any plan. Publishing needs Starter ($29 a month), Pro, or Studio. Eden keeps 5% of each sale, renewals included, and Stripe's processing fee comes out of your share. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account.
