Why creators use comment-to-DM

Instagram suppresses posts with links, and links in comments get buried. The workaround became its own growth mechanic: ask for a keyword comment, deliver the link by DM. Three effects stack:

Setting it up

  1. Connect a Professional Instagram account under Settings, then Scheduling. If you connected a while ago, Eden may ask you to reconnect once, because messaging permissions are granted at connect time.
  2. Create the automation. Open Publish, hit the Auto-DM button in the view switcher, and click New automation. Pick the trigger, add keywords, write the DM. A live preview shows exactly what the recipient sees.
