Offer a free trial on a membership
Let buyers try a membership free for a set number of days before the first charge.
Open your membership's Offer step and turn on Offer a free trial under Free trial. Set the Days free, then save. Buyers add their card and pay nothing until the trial ends.

Make it a membership
On the Offer step, give the product a monthly or yearly price. Trials work on memberships only.

Turn on the trial
Under Free trial, turn on Offer a free trial and set Days free, from 1 to 90.

Save
Click Save. The buy button now says Start free trial.
What buyers see
- The offer card says "7 days free, then $29/month".
- Checkout says "$0 today", then the price and the date of the first charge.
- They can cancel anytime before that date and are never charged.
- About 3 days before the first charge, Eden emails them the date, the price, and how to cancel.
How trials work
| Rule | What happens |

| One per person | Each email, and each card, gets one trial of a product. |
| Card up front | The card is saved at signup and first charged when the trial ends. |
| Included AI credits | They arrive with the first payment, not at signup. |
| Discount codes | A code comes off the first real payment. |
| Canceling | Access stays until the trial ends, then stops. Nothing is charged. |
Someone whose trial was already used can still join. Checkout offers Join and pay today.
Track your trials
- You get a phone alert when someone starts a trial, and a sale alert when they first pay.
- Your products list shows how many people are in a trial and how many converted.
- In Customers, a trial member reads "Free trial, first charge" and the date.
Start selling on Eden
Set up your store, pick what to sell, get paid through Stripe, and run it all from Your store.
Limit how many people can buy
Sell a set number of spots. When they're gone, your page shows Sold out.
Run a sale
Put products on sale for a set time, for everyone or only for people with a code. A real countdown shows, and the price goes back up when it ends.
