Run an affiliate program

Set up your program

1. 01

   Turn it on

   In Settings, switch on Affiliate program. You need a store handle first.

   Pick who can join

   Choose an option under Who can join (see the table below).

   Set the cut

   Under Default cut, pick Percent or Flat amount. Click Set its own cut on a product to give it a different one, or switch a product off to leave it out.

   Share your signup link

   Click Save, then Copy signup link at the top of the page.

Running your own program needs Pro or Studio. Joining another creator’s program is free.

Who can join

Option	What happens
I approve	Anyone can apply on your signup page. You approve each one under Applications.
Everyone	Anyone who applies gets in right away.
Buyers	Only people who bought from you. They get a Get my link button after checkout and an email with a one-click link.
Invite only	Your signup page is closed. You add people with Invite.

For I approve and Everyone, you can add your own questions and terms to the signup form.

Get found by new affiliates

Switch on List in Eden's program directory in Settings. Your program then shows at app.eden.so/affiliates, where people look for creators to promote. It only shows while your program is on and set to I approve or Everyone.

Give affiliates things to share

Open the Resources tab and click Save when you're done.

• Brief: who your products are for, what to say, and what not to say.
• Add copy: posts they can copy as is. Write {link} and each affiliate sees their own link.
• Add image: covers or graphics they can post.
• Add link: a free sample, a video, or anything else worth sending people to.

Affiliates see all of it on their Affiliate programs page, under each program.

Add or manage affiliates

• Invite at the top of the page adds someone by email. They get a welcome email with their link.
• Click an affiliate to open their details. There you can set Their cut, give them a Discount code, add a note, or Pause or Remove them.
• A sale with their discount code counts for them, no link needed. Make the code on each product first, under Discount codes.
• Pausing stops new clicks and sales from counting. What they already earned is still theirs.

How affiliates get paid

• The cut comes out of your share of the sale. Eden's fee doesn't change.
• Eden takes the cut at checkout, holds it 30 days in case of a refund, then pays the affiliate to their own Stripe account every two weeks once they have $25 or more.
• You never pay anyone by hand. Payouts shows what each affiliate is waiting on, ready for, and has been paid.
• A refund takes the cut back. So does a chargeback the buyer wins.

Memberships and the link window

• Memberships decides what affiliates earn on renewals: Every payment, First only, or First few.
• Link window is how long after a click a sale still counts: 7 to 90 days. The last link clicked wins.

Do it from chat

Ask Eden in chat, or in Claude or ChatGPT with the Eden MCP: "who applied to my affiliate program?", "approve Jane", "change my cut to 25%", or "list my program in Eden's directory".
