The best Mighty Networks alternative depends on why you're leaving. For everything in one place, with chat, a Library (Eden's forum), email, and a store on one monthly plan, pick Eden. For a polished community with a low fee, pick Circle. For the cheapest big community, pick Skool Pro. For courses first, pick Kajabi. For channels and a forum on a small budget, pick Heartbeat. And if your members already live on Discord and you're in the US, Discord is free.

Full disclosure: we make Eden, one of the options below. Prices were checked on each company's pricing page on October 8, 2026. We point out where others beat us.

Why people look for a Mighty Networks alternative

  • The listed price is the yearly price. Launch is $79 a month billed yearly and $95 if you pay monthly. See Mighty Networks pricing.
  • A branded app needs Mighty Pro, which is priced by quote.
  • It's a community platform first. Selling downloads, coaching calls, or a paid newsletter, and emailing your wider list, usually means more tools.
  • The fee never hits zero. 2% on Launch, down to 0.5% on Growth, plus Stripe.

1. Eden: best for everything in one place

On Eden, a community is a product in your store, next to your courses, coaching, downloads, and paid newsletter. One checkout, one customer list, and one login for members.

  • Chat that feels like Telegram. Channels that show their last message, threads with an inbox, voice notes, photo grids, @mentions, and channels only some members see, like a VIP channel.
  • A Library that keeps answers. Guides, breakdowns, and wins in categories, with pinned posts, covers and video, and "Mark as best answer." Hosts and moderators can save a chat message as a Library post so it doesn't scroll away.
  • Events on their calendar. One-off and repeating events, reminders, and a private "Sync to calendar" feed.
  • Email built in. Starter includes 10,000 contacts and 10,000 sends a month. Start a sequence when someone joins (Pro).
  • Phones included. Members chat, read the Library, and see events in the Eden app on iPhone and Android. Badges and a message sound show what's new.

Price: Starter $29 a month (1 community), Pro $79 (3), Max $199 (unlimited). 5% per sale, or 2% on Max, plus Stripe. No member caps.

Where it falls short: Eden takes more per sale than Mighty. Members use the Eden app, which carries Eden's name. No AI inside communities yet, no private messages between members, and setup is on the web.

Choose Eden if the community is one of several things you sell and you want email and a store with it. See Communities and Eden vs Mighty Networks.

2. Circle: best for a polished, low-fee community

Circle is the closest match to Mighty: spaces, chat, courses, events, and live rooms in a clean design. AI credits come on every plan, and AI agents on Scale.

Price: Professional $89 a month billed yearly (2%), Business $199 (1%), Scale $419 (1%). Email Hub is $99 a month for 10,000 contacts. A branded app needs Circle Plus. See Circle pricing.

Choose Circle if you want a premium community and you'll pay yearly. See Circle alternatives and Eden vs Circle.

3. Skool: best for the cheapest big community

Skool is simple: one feed, a classroom, and a calendar. Pro's 2.9% + 30¢ already includes card fees, which makes it the cheapest on fees for a large group.

Price: Hobby $9 a month plus 10%, Pro $99 plus 2.9% + 30¢. See Skool pricing.

Where it falls short: no channels or group chat, no email for leads, and an iPhone app at 3.8 stars.

Choose Skool if the community is your whole business and you want the lowest fee. See Eden vs Skool.

4. Kajabi: best for courses first

Kajabi is a course platform with email, funnels, and a community. Kajabi takes no cut of sales beyond card processing.

Price: Basic $179 a month ($143 billed yearly), Growth $249, Pro $499. Basic and Growth include 1 community, Pro includes 3 and a branded app.

Choose Kajabi if courses and funnels come first and the community is a side room. See Skool vs Kajabi and Eden vs Kajabi.

5. Heartbeat: best for channels and a forum on a budget

Heartbeat organizes a community into channels, threads, and events, much like Discord.

Price: Build $49 a month (5% fee), Grow $149 (2.5%), Scale $849 (1.25%). A white-label app is on Scale.

Choose Heartbeat if you want channels and threads for a small group and don't need email or a store.

6. Discord: best if your members already live there

Discord is free and great at chat. Server Subscriptions let you charge for access, and Discord keeps 10%. They're only for server owners in the US.

Where it falls short: no checkout outside Discord, no courses, and answers scroll away in chat.

Choose Discord if your members are already on it and you're in the US. See Discord alternatives for paid communities.
