Step 1: start for $5

Click Start for $5 on the Try Eden for $5 card in your sidebar. Pick Monthly ($5) or Yearly ($30) and pay by card. See what the $5 plan includes.

Paid monthly? One screen comes first: Upgrade to Pro at no extra cost. Take it and Pro starts now, free until your $5 would have renewed. Or click No thanks, keep $5. Either way, the yearly offer is next. See Try Pro free for a month.

Step 2: the 72-hour yearly offer

   Find it

   It shows right after you pay, under You're in. Later, click See your offer on the Welcome offer card in your sidebar. It shows the time left. On the last day, a bar across the top of Eden shows the countdown instead.

   Pick a plan

   The page opens on Starter. To see Pro, click Pro on the switch above the card. Leave the other switch on Yearly. Then click Switch to Starter yearly or Switch to Pro yearly.

3. 03

   You're set

   Your new plan starts right away, on the card you already used. The part of your $5 plan you haven't used comes off the price.

If you already own The Creator Bootcamp, Pro yearly doesn't list it again. After the first year, each plan renews at its normal yearly price.

On your free month of Pro

The yearly page shows only Pro yearly, with the line Keep your free month of Pro, plus 3 more months free. It shows your first-year price next to 12 months of Pro monthly. Switching charges you that day. The unused part of the $5 you paid comes off the price. The Pro yearly bonuses come with it as usual.

On Starter yearly: Pro at 25% off

About a month into your Starter year, you get one 3-day window to move up to Pro yearly at 25% off. We email you that morning, and a card shows in your sidebar. Open it, then click Switch to Pro yearly. You pay $593 for your first year of Pro instead of $790, and what's left of your Starter year comes off that. It ends at midnight your time on the third day. You get it once.

Rather pay monthly?

Flip the switch to Monthly. Starter is $29 a month and Pro is $79, at full price with no bonuses.

Who gets it

• Anyone who buys the $5 plan. The 72 hours start when you pay, and the offer ends at midnight your time on the day they run out. So you always get at least 72 hours.
• Once per workspace. If you had a 72-hour yearly offer before, you won't get a second one.
• Web only. The phone apps don't show it.
• Skip it and nothing changes. Your $5 plan keeps going until you cancel.
• After it ends, plans are full price in Settings → Billing.
