Sell a digital download

Sell a file, template, board, table, or document from your workspace, with no AI attached.

A digital download is a product with no chat. Buyers read your files inside Eden, copy them into their workspace, or download the originals. Start in Your store → Products → New product → Digital download.

Set it up

  1. 01

    Create the product

    Open your store, go to Products, click New product, and pick Digital download. Or right-click a Library item or board, choose Sell this, then New digital download.

  2. 02

    Name and price it

    On the Offer step, set the Title, Tagline, and Price in USD. Use 0 for free.

  3. 03

    Add the files

    On the Contents step, click Add and pick what buyers get.

  4. 04

    Write the page and publish

    Fill in the Page step, then finish the checklist on Publish.

Each item has an access chip. Buyers can read keeps it inside the product. Buyers can read, copy, and download adds Download and Add to workspace. Download-only files are always downloadable.

What your buyer sees

  • Your welcome page first, if you wrote one.
  • A list of your files on the left, the open file in the middle.
  • Download and Add to workspace on files you allowed.
  • The same product on the Eden iPhone and Android apps.

Good to know

  • Building is free on any plan. Publishing needs Starter, Pro, or Studio.
  • The Publish checklist needs a name, a price, a page description, a support email, at least one file, and Stripe for a paid product.
  • Publishing freezes a copy. Buyers get later edits only when you click Publish update.
  • Download-only files: up to 20 per product and 2 GB in total. Programs like .exe, .dmg, and .sh are refused.
  • A refund or revoke stops downloads right away. Copies already in the buyer's workspace stay.
  • To add an AI later, change Product type on the Offer step to Custom AI. For lessons in order, pick Course.
