What the balance pays for

  • Free products that include AI credits. When someone claims one and signs in, their credits come out of your balance.
  • Paid products claimed for $0 with a 100% discount code. Same as a free product.
  • Gifts. When you give a customer AI credits, the balance pays if it covers the whole gift. If not, the gift goes on your card.

Paid sales still pay for their own included credits. Customers you add by hand or import never draw from the balance.

Include AI credits on a free product

In the product editor, go to the Offer step and pick an amount under Include AI credits. The editor shows what your balance covers, like "Your balance: 1,250 credits, enough for 12 signups".

The product page only promises the credits while your balance can pay for them. If it runs out, the line comes off the page until you add funds.

Top up automatically

Turn on Top up automatically and set the rule, like When below 250 credits, add $50. Eden charges your card once when the balance drops under the line. If the card is declined, it waits an hour before trying again.

Daily limit

Free signups funded per product each day stops a rush of signups from draining your balance. It starts at 100 and can be set from 1 to 5,000. Signups past the limit still get the product, just without the credits.

When the balance runs out

New customers still get your free product, but without the extra credits. They don't get them later. You'll see a warning in Customer credits (a dot on the button) and on your store's Overview, with an Add funds button.

To make it up to someone, give them credits from their customer page.
