Add your details

   Open Settings, then Billing

   Or go straight to app.eden.so/billing.

   Find Business details in the Receipts section

   It sits just under the Receipts heading. Click Add the first time, or Edit to change what is there.

   Fill in what your accountant needs, then Save details

   Every field is optional. Leave anything blank and it simply does not print.

What each field does

• Full name. Eden never asks for your full name anywhere else, so this is where it comes from.
• Business name. The legal entity being billed. If you fill this in, it prints on the first line of the "Billed to" block, above your name.
• Address. Type it exactly as it should appear, one line per row. Eden prints your rows verbatim, so any country's address format works without being rearranged.
• VAT / tax number. Prints on its own line as "Tax ID". Use it for VAT, GST, EIN, ABN, or whatever your country calls it.
• Billing email. Where accounting wants correspondence to go, when that is not the address on the card.
• Anything else. One line per row, for things like a company registration number or a purchase order reference.

It fixes invoices you already downloaded

This is the main reason to fill the form in even if you have been with Eden a while: you can bring a year of past invoices up to date in one go.

Who can edit it, and where else it applies

Business details belong to the workspace, not to you personally, and any member can edit them. The person who files expenses is often not the person who pays, so Eden does not restrict this to the workspace owner.

When you save, Eden also copies your business name and tax number to Stripe, which processes Eden's payments. Stripe's own copies of future invoices then match your Eden ones. Stripe keeps its own address separately, so the address you type here shows on the Eden invoice.

If your name uses a non-Latin alphabet

Invoices print Latin (including Polish, Czech, Turkish, Romanian, Hungarian, and the Baltic languages), Greek, Cyrillic, and Thai.

Other alphabets, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, and Hebrew, cannot be printed on the PDF yet. If you type one, the form shows a warning listing the exact characters, and those characters come out blank on the invoice. Use a romanized spelling of your company name instead, or email [email protected] and we will help.

If you are billed through the App Store

Subscriptions bought inside the Eden iOS app are billed by Apple, so Apple issues those receipts and your Eden business details do not appear on them. Change your details in your Apple account instead. Anything you bought directly from Eden still uses the form above.
