Sorting a board

Sort a Grid or List board by your own order, date, name, or item type.

Click the Settings gear at the bottom right of the board and pick an option under Sort by. Custom sort is the default. Sorting works in Grid and List views.

Change the sort

    Open Settings

    Click the gear at the bottom right of the board.

    Pick a sort

    Choose one of the options under Sort by.

  3. 03

    Flip the order

    Pick Reverse direction to switch A → Z to Z → A, or newest to oldest.

Reorder by hand

Pick Custom sort, then drag items where you want them. This order is saved on the board, so everyone with access sees it.

Your sort choice is just for you. Switching to Name and back to Custom sort never loses your hand-made order.

Sort with sections

The sort applies inside whatever section chip you have open. In All, items stay grouped by section, then sorted. See using sections.

Filter by type

The same Settings menu has Filter by type. Turn off types you don't want to see, like Links or Media. Pick Display all to reset.
