How creators use Eden boards as swipe files
Build a board of proven posts, keep it tight, and chat with it when you write.
A swipe file is a board of work that performed, kept so you never start from a blank page. Make one board per format or theme, save only posts that earned it, and chat with the board when you sit down to write.

Make a narrow board
Name it for one format or theme, like "YouTube titles to study" or "X hooks on focus." See creating your first board.

Save outliers from Discover
Posts that beat their creator's usual numbers are the ones worth studying. Click the bookmark on a post and pick Save post to board. Learn more about the outlier multiplier.

Add what you find elsewhere
Paste any link onto the board with
⌘ V(Ctrl Von Windows). Or save pages as you browse with the Chrome extension. - 04
Use Grid view
Grid lines everything up so you can scan it. Sort by Date Created to see what you saved last.
Sections show as tabs at the top. Click one to see only its items.
What to save
- Outliers in your niche. Posts that did far better than the creator's normal.
- Your own best posts. So you write against your real ceiling.
- Off-platform examples. A book passage, an ad, a podcast clip. Paste the link or write a card.
Skip posts you saved on autopilot, and hits from niches you don't write in.
Three shapes that work

Once a board passes about 50 items, add sections like "Hooks," "Outlines," and "Whole posts."
Write with it
Click the Chat bubble in the toolbar at the bottom of the board. Or right-click the board in the sidebar and pick Chat with. The chat reads the board's items. Try:
My next post is about [topic]. Give me ten title ideas that match the patterns on this board, and say which item each one borrows from.
Then read four or five of the best items yourself and write your own version. If your post reads like a copy of one item, you went too close.
