Team and private boards

Move a board between Team and Private

Right-click a board or folder in the sidebar (long-press on mobile) and choose Move to Team or Move to Private. A folder moves with every board inside it.

You can also drag it there. Drop a board under the other section's header, between its folders, or onto one of its folders. On the phone apps, press and hold a board to pick it up, and hold it over a closed folder to open it.

• New boards start in Private. A board made inside a Team folder starts in Team.
• A folder always stays with its boards. If every board in a folder is private, the folder shows under Private.
• You can move boards you created. The owner can move any board.
• Moving into Team needs edit access to Team boards.

Items follow their boards. Put a note on a Team board and teammates can see it. Take it off its last Team board and it's private again. Your Library only shows your own saves plus what's shared with you. Use Filter to pick Personal or Team.

Set a member's access

Each member has a default for all Team boards: Can edit, Can view, or No access.

• No access hides every Team board from them. Use it for someone who only helps with your store. They don't split your sidebar into Private and Team.

• Change it in Settings → Members. Click Edit access next to the member.

• In the same dialog, Choose access board by board shows every Team board and folder.

• For one board, right-click it in the sidebar and choose Manage access.

Access	What the member gets
Can edit	Add to and change the board.
Can view	Open and read it, but not change it.
Hidden	The board is gone for them: sidebar, Library, and search.

Access set on a folder covers every board in it. Only the owner, or the person who made a board, can change other members' access.

Share boards when you invite someone

The invite form in Settings → Members has a board picker. Pick No boards next to it to invite someone who won't see any boards.

• Team boards are all checked. Uncheck any the new person shouldn't see.
• Your private boards are unchecked. Check one to move it to Team when the invite goes out. Everyone in the workspace will see it, not just the new person.
• If your Team section is empty, your private boards start checked so they don't land in an empty workspace.

If Team is still empty later, the owner can click Choose boards to share under Team Boards.

Chats, pins, and sidebar order

• New chats are personal. Right-click one in the sidebar and choose Share with team.
• Pins are per person. Your pins don't move anyone else's sidebar.
• Drag the Private Boards, Shared with me, or Team Boards header to reorder sections. The order is yours alone.
