Inviting people to a note, board, or table
Share a single note, board, or table with specific people by email. Choose whether each person can view or edit. Invites are free and don't use a seat.
Besides public links, you can share a note, board, or table with specific people. They get an email, open the item, and see it under Shared with me in their sidebar. You choose per person whether they can view or edit.
An invite shares exactly one item. It doesn't add the person to your workspace, doesn't use a seat, and doesn't cost anything. It's the right tool when a public link is too open or when you want someone to edit just one thing.
Invite someone

Open the item and click Share
Notes, boards, and tables all have a Share button in their top bar.

Enter their email
Type the email in the People with access section and invite them. They get an email with a link to the item. If they don't have an Eden account yet, the share is waiting for them the first time they sign in with that email.

Pick view or edit
Each person's row has a dropdown: Can view or Can edit. You can change it or revoke access at any time from the same panel.
What each role can do
- Can view: read the item. On a board, that includes opening the notes and cards on it.
- Can edit: change content. On a note, that's full live editing alongside you. On a board, they can add, move, and edit cards, stickies, and text. On a table, they can add rows, edit cells, and check items off.
Some things always stay yours:
- Only workspace members can change a table's structure: its columns, views, grouping, and title. Invited editors work with the rows, not the shape.
- Invited people can't re-share the item or invite others. Sharing stays with you.
- Deleting the item stays with you and your workspace members.
What the other person sees
They see just the item you shared, nothing else in your workspace. Shared items appear in the Shared with me section of their sidebar so they can find their way back. If a table references other items they don't have access to, they see names or source links, not the content.
Revoking access
Open the same Share panel, find the person's row, and remove them. They lose access right away. Anything they added while they had edit access stays in the item.
