Host an event on Eden Live, Google Meet, or Zoom

Make a community event and pick where it happens. Eden can make the Google Meet or Zoom link for you.

Open Events, click New event, and pick a spot under Where. Pick Google Meet and Eden makes the Meet link on your own Google account when you save.

Make an event

    Start it

    Open Events in your community and click New event. On a phone, tap the round + button.

    Fill it in

    Add a title, the date and time, how long it runs, and whether it repeats.

    Pick where it happens

    Under Where, pick Eden Live, Google Meet, or your own link. Then click Make event.

Hosts, admins, and moderators can make events.

  • Free Google accounts end group calls after 60 minutes. Paid Google Workspace plans fit 100 to 1,000 people, depending on the plan.
  • The size limit comes from your plan as the host, not your members' plans.
  • When 80 or more people are going to a Google Meet or Zoom event, hosts see a note on it. Click Switch to Eden Live to move the whole series to Eden Live.

Use Google Meet

  1. Connect Google Calendar in Your store → Calendar. You only do this once.
  2. Pick Google Meet under Where and save. Eden makes the link. Members see Join 10 minutes before the start.
  • Eden also puts a small event called Google Meet room on your Google Calendar. Keep it. Deleting it can turn the link off.
  • In Meet, open the host controls and set access to Open, so members don't have to ask to join.
  • Editing the event keeps the same Meet link.
