Connect Eden to Raycast

Eden doesn't have a one-click "Add to Raycast" button the way it does for Claude and Cursor, but Raycast makes adding a remote connection simple, and there's no token to copy — you sign in to Eden in a browser window and Raycast handles the rest.

What you'll need

• Raycast with AI enabled (Raycast Pro). MCP servers feed Raycast's AI, which is part of the Pro features.
• An Eden account you can sign in to.

Set it up

   Open Manage MCP Servers in Raycast

   Open Raycast and run the Manage MCP Servers command (start typing "MCP" in the launcher). Choose to add a new server.

   Add Eden as an HTTP server

   Set the Type to HTTP and paste the Eden server URL:

   https://mcp.eden.so/mcp
   

   Leave the OAuth setting on Dynamic (the default). You don't need to enter a Client ID, secret, or any headers — Eden registers Raycast automatically.

   Install the server

   Press Install MCP Server (Cmd + Enter). Raycast saves the connection and opens a browser window asking you to sign in to Eden.

   Sign in with Eden

   Sign in with the same account you use for Eden and approve the connection. Raycast stores the key encrypted, pulls in Eden's tools, and you're done.

You only sign in once. Raycast keeps the connection and refreshes it for you from then on.

What to ask once it's connected

In any Raycast AI command or chat, just ask — Raycast decides when Eden is the right source. The same questions that work in Claude or Cursor work here:

• "What's on my Hooks board?"
• "Analyze the creator @hormozi on Twitter — what are their top outliers?"
• "Who am I following on Substack?"
• "Read this saved YouTube video from my swipe file and pull out the three best ideas."

Eden has already done the heavy lifting on top posts, outliers, transcripts, and per-segment baselines, so Raycast gets the analysis back instantly rather than scraping in the moment. Reading and writing

When you connect Raycast, Eden asks you to approve read and write access. Approve it and Raycast can both read your workspace — boards, saved posts, creator lists, the analysis Eden has already done — and act on it: save links and posts to a board, create and edit notes, create/rename/trash boards, and schedule or edit posts. Want it to only read? Deny the write request, or use a read-only personal access token. No connection can create folders, permanently delete, or change who you follow yet.

Managing or disconnecting

You manage the connection in two places. To remove it from Raycast, open Manage MCP Servers, select Eden, and delete it. To cut off Eden's side — which stops access immediately, even before you touch Raycast — open Eden's Settings → Integrations, find Eden's connected-assistants card, and click Revoke on the Raycast row.

To reconnect after revoking, re-add the server in Raycast (or sign in again) and approve the Eden window.

Troubleshooting

• Raycast says it can't see my Eden content. Make sure the server Type is HTTP and the URL is exactly https://mcp.eden.so/mcp, then confirm you completed the Sign In step — tools stay hidden until you do.
• No browser sign-in window appeared. Confirm OAuth is set to Dynamic, not Static. Static expects you to supply a Client ID, which Eden doesn't need.
• "We're still indexing them" when I ask about a creator. The first time anyone asks Eden about a brand-new creator, Eden starts collecting their content in the background. Ask again in a few minutes and the rich analysis will be ready.
