Getting started

Change how Eden looks

Pick a Mood to tint the whole app, and switch between light and dark mode.

·1 min read

Click your workspace name at the top left, then the palette icon at the bottom of the menu. Pick Light, Dark, or System at the top, and a Mood below to tint the whole app.

The quick way

Click your workspace name at the top left of the sidebar. At the bottom of the menu, next to the help icon, click the palette icon. Tabs on top switch Light, Dark, and System. The Moods are listed below. Changes show right away.

Pick a Mood in Settings

  1. 01

    Open Appearance

Go to Settings → Preferences. Appearance is near the top.

  2. 02

    Choose a Mood

Click the menu next to Mood and pick one. The whole app changes right away: the page, the sidebar, menus, chips, and fields.

Every Mood works in light and dark mode. Buttons stay black and white in all of them.

Switch light and dark mode

  • In Settings → Preferences → Appearance, set Theme to Light, Dark, or System. System follows your computer's setting.
  • Or press ⌘ Shift L (Ctrl Shift L on Windows) to flip between light and dark.

Good to know

  • Your Mood and Theme are saved on this computer and browser. Set them again on another computer.
  • Picked a color theme before October 16, 2026? It carried over: Amber is now Paper, Eden is Sage, Ocean is Mist, Violet is Lavender, Rose is Blush, and Graphite is Slate.
