Connect your Snipd podcast snips
Sync your Snipd snips into Eden — transcripts, notes, and tags included — and turn the best moments from podcasts into searchable quote cards.
If you snip the best moments of podcasts in Snipd, those transcripts and notes are prime raw material. Connect once and Eden pulls every snip — transcript, your note, and tags — into the same Highlights library as everything else.
A snip is a saved podcast moment: the transcript of the passage, the timestamp, any note you added, and your tags. Once connected, they're searchable next to your Readwise and Kindle highlights, and any snip can become a quote card on a board.
How it works
You connect in your browser, no extension needed. Eden opens a Snipd tab where you sign in and approve the connection; from then on, Eden syncs new snips daily on its own servers.
Connect Snipd
- 01
Open Settings → Integrations
Find the Snipd card and click Connect Snipd.
- 02
Approve in the Snipd tab
A Snipd tab opens. Sign in to your Snipd account there and approve the connection (the page is branded "Obsidian integration" — see above).
- 03
Done — the card finishes on its own
Back in Eden, the card flips to connected automatically and starts importing every snip with its transcript, your notes, and tags.
After the first sync, your snips appear in the Highlights pane under the Snipd tab — each episode grouped like a book, with the show as the author.
Sync and plans
- Connecting and manual sync are available on Personal and above — every paid plan. Click Sync now on the Snipd card any time to pull new snips.
- Automatic daily sync is included on paid plans too — new snips flow in on their own.
- On Free, the connect option is gated. You'll see a prompt to upgrade.
Managing the connection
Manage Snipd from Settings → Integrations on the Snipd card. From there you can sync manually, reconnect, or disconnect. Disconnecting keeps your already-imported snips in Eden and only removes the connection.
The Highlights pane
One searchable library for every highlight you make in Eden plus the ones you import from Readwise, Kindle, and Snipd, ready to drop onto boards.
Connect your Kindle highlights
Sync your Kindle book highlights into Eden through the Chrome extension, no Readwise needed, and turn them into searchable quote cards.
Connecting Readwise to Eden
Sync your Readwise highlights into Eden, then search them, chat with them, and save them to your boards as quote cards.
