Connect your Kindle highlights

Connect Kindle

   Open Eden in Chrome

   Go to app.eden.so in the Chrome profile that has the Eden extension.

   Pick your region

   Open Settings → Integrations. On the Kindle card, choose the Amazon site you buy your books from.

   Connect

   Click Connect Kindle. If you're not signed in to Amazon, sign in when asked. The first sync starts on its own.

After that, syncs run on Eden's servers. You don't need Chrome open.

Find your highlights

• Open the Library filter and pick Kindle under Source.
• Or pick Highlights under Type to see them with your other highlights.
• Select highlights and use Add to board or Chat with in the bar at the bottom.

Tag highlights from your Kindle

Add a note to a highlight on your Kindle with a #tag in it. When it syncs, the tag becomes an Eden tag and drops out of the note text.

• Only your note is read, not the highlighted passage.
• Up to 5 tags per highlight.
• See tagging items for how tags work.

Keep it up to date

• On Personal and above, Eden re-syncs your Kindle notebook once a day.
• To sync now, click Sync now on the Kindle card. On Free, this is how new highlights come in.
• Click Manage books to uncheck books you don't want. Their highlights are removed from Eden.
• Use Add to this Library or Stop syncing here to pick which workspaces get your highlights.

If the session expired

Amazon sessions run out. When the card says your session expired:

1. Open Eden in Chrome and click Reconnect on the Kindle card.
2. If that fails, click Open your Kindle notebook, sign out of Amazon, sign back in, and click Reconnect again.
3. Check the region matches the Amazon site you buy books from.

Your synced highlights stay while you reconnect.

Disconnect Kindle

Click Disconnect on the Kindle card.
