Import your Notion workspace
Bring Notion into Eden from a Markdown & CSV export. Pages become notes and databases become tables. Works in the browser and the desktop app.
Export your Notion workspace as Markdown & CSV. Then go to Settings → Import, click Import from Notion, and choose the zip. Pages become notes and databases become tables.
Export from Notion
- In Notion, open Settings and find the export option. For one page, use its ••• menu and choose Export.
- Pick Markdown & CSV, not HTML or PDF. Keep subpages included.
- Save the zip. You don't need to unzip it.
Import into Eden

Open the importer
Go to Settings → Import and click Import from Notion.

Choose your export
Click Choose the zip. You can also click Choose a folder for an unzipped export, or drag the zip onto the window. Nothing uploads yet.

Check the summary
Eden shows the pages, databases, and tags it found. On a repeat import it also shows what is new or changed.

Click Import. Keep the window open until it finishes, then click Open Library.
What comes over

Import again or undo
- Run it again any time. New pages are added and pages you changed in Notion are updated.
- A note you edited in Eden is never overwritten.
- A database that changed in Notion gets its rows refreshed. Cell edits you made in Eden are replaced.
- Renaming or moving a page in Notion does not make a duplicate.
- To find imported items, open Filter → Source in the Library and pick Notion.
- To undo, click Remove imported items on the card. Notes and tables move to Trash. Tags stay.
If something's off
- "No Notion pages were found": the export has no Markdown pages. Export again as Markdown & CSV.
- More than 5,000 pages: export a few top-level pages at a time.
- A database has more than 5,000 rows: Eden can't import it. Split it in Notion first.
- Columns missing: tables hold up to 30 columns. Extra ones are left out.
- "That zip is over 2 GB": unzip it and choose the folder instead.
- Import stopped early: you hit the Free plan's 100-item limit. The summary warns you first. Rows with no page content don't count. Upgrade, then import again.
- Attachments skipped: files over 15 MB are left out.
