Pinning what you use most
Pin a board, a note, a table, or a chat and it lands in your Pinned section — the top of the sidebar on web, the top of Home on iPhone and Android.
Some things you come back to every day. Pin them and they sit in one place — the top of your sidebar on web, the top of Home on your phone — newest pin first, in whatever order you drag them into, until you unpin them.
What you can pin
Anything you keep reopening:
- Boards — your main workspace, a client board, a swipe file.
- Library items — a note, a table, a saved link, a PDF.
- Chats — a conversation you keep adding to.
Pins are per workspace and they sync, so what you pin on your laptop is there on your phone.
How to pin
On the web
- A Library item: right-click the card and choose Pin to sidebar. You can select several cards first and pin them in one go.
- A board: right-click the board in the sidebar and choose Pin to top.
- A chat: right-click the chat in the Chats tab of the sidebar and choose Pin to top.
On iPhone and Android
- A Library item: press and hold the card, then tap Pin to Home.
- A board: press and hold the board in the Boards tab, then tap Pin.
- A chat: open the chats list and tap the pin icon on the row (on iPhone, swipe the row right).
To undo any of these, repeat the same step and choose Unpin.
Where your pins show up
On the web, they live in the sidebar. A Pinned section sits at the very top, above your boards. It's one list — boards, notes, tables and chats sit together — and the thing you pinned most recently goes to the top, so a new pin is always where you're looking. It's there on every screen, so a pinned note is one click away no matter what you're looking at.
Click a pinned row to open it: a board opens on the canvas, a note or table opens in a pane.
On iPhone and Android, they live on Home. There's no sidebar on a phone, so the Pinned section sits near the top of the Home tab, in the same order as the web sidebar. Each row shows when you last touched it, so a note you edited this morning reads "3h ago".
The mobile section shows five rows to keep Home short. Pin a sixth and a small Show more link appears underneath — tap it to see the rest, tap Show less to fold it back.
If you haven't pinned anything, the section isn't there at all.
Putting them in your own order
On the web, drag a pinned row up or down in the sidebar to move it.
The order is saved to the pins themselves, not to that one computer, so it follows you everywhere: another laptop, and the Pinned section on your iPhone and Android Home. Dragging happens on the web for now; the phones show whatever order you set there.
Anything you pin later joins at the top of the list, above the rows you've arranged. Drag it where you want it and it stays there.
