Sharing a single item
You don't have to share a whole board. Make one item public and share its link, and anyone can open it, no account needed.
Sharing isn't all-or-nothing. Besides sharing a whole board, you can make a single item public and hand out its link. Anyone with the link can open that one item, no Eden account needed.
Sometimes you want to share one thing, like a note, a card, or an image, without opening up the board it lives on. A single-item link does exactly that.
Share one item
- 01
Right-click the item
Right-click the item on the canvas or in the Library to open its menu.
- 02
Make it public
Choose the share (make public) action. Eden generates a public link for that one item.
- 03
Copy and share the link
Paste it anywhere: a message, an email, a doc. Whoever opens it sees just that item, and they don't need an account.
Single item vs. whole board
Sharing one item exposes exactly that item and nothing else around it. Sharing a board shares everything on the board, its sections, and its chat, and lets the receiver duplicate the whole board into their own account. Reach for a single-item link when you want to point someone at one specific thing; share a board when you want to hand over a full collection or a template.
Sharing a board with a collaborator
Boards are shareable. Generate a viewable or editable link, share it anywhere, and the receiver can read, edit, or duplicate the board as their own.
The Library: everything you've saved, in one place
The Library is your workspace-wide home for every link, PDF, image, note, saved post, and highlight. Here is how it works and how it relates to boards.
