Fork a chat
Copy a chat into a new one, whole or from any reply, and try a different direction without losing the original.
Hover any reply and click Fork from here to start a new chat that ends at that reply. To copy the whole chat, click ⋯ at the top of the chat and pick Fork.

Hover the reply
The buttons under the reply show up. Fork from here is the branch icon.

Click Fork from here
Eden copies the chat up to and including that reply. Nothing after it comes along.

Keep going
The copy opens right away. Ask something new. The original chat stays as it was.
Fork the whole chat
Any of these copy the full chat:

From the sidebar, the copy shows up in your list. From the other two, it opens right away.
What the copy keeps
- The copy is named after the original, with "(copy)" at the end. Rename it from the same ⋯ menu.
- A chat with a Custom AI stays with that Custom AI.
- In a team workspace, the copy is yours alone, even if the original was shared with your team.
- Pins don't carry over. Pin the copy if you want it on top.
