Routines

A routine is a prompt Eden runs for you on a schedule. Each run lands in a new chat and can email you the result.

Ask in chat with a schedule: "Every weekday at 9am, find me 5 post ideas in my niche." Eden sets up the routine, and each run shows up as a new chat with the result.

Make a routine by hand

  1. 01

    Open Routines

    Go to Settings → Routines and click Add routine. Pick Write it yourself, or Set up in chat to have Eden walk you through it.

    Write the prompt

    Give it a name and write the instruction as a full request.

  3. 03

    Pick when it runs

    Choose Daily, Weekdays, Weekly, or Monthly, then a time. It runs in your time zone.

  4. 04

    Pick the model and email

    Leave the model on Automatic to use Eden's default. Leave Email me the result after each run checked to get the result in your inbox. Click Create routine.

What happens on each run

  • Eden opens a new chat and sends your prompt, like you typed it.
  • A dot marks the chat while it runs. It turns blue when it's done.
  • Finished runs from the last week show on the new chat screen.
  • The mobile apps send a push when a run finishes.

Pause, edit, or delete

  • Settings → Routines lists every routine with its next run. Click one to edit it, or use the pause switch.
  • The ⋯ menu at the top of chat has Routines, which opens the same list.
  • You can also just ask: "pause my morning brief" or "move my ideas routine to 8am."
