Find outlier TikToks
Turn on TikTok in Discover, find videos that beat their creator's usual views, and save the best to a board.
In Discover, click the sliders icon in the search bar and turn on only TikTok. The feed now shows TikToks that got far more views than their creator usually gets.

Show only TikTok
Open the filters. Under Platforms, check TikTok and uncheck everything else.
The filter button sums up your picks: TikTok, last 6 months, 10×. - 02
Pick your topic
Click a category chip above the feed. Or type a search (the $5 Discover plan, or Starter and up).

Raise the bar
Set Min outlier score to 10× or more. The default is 5×. Creator percentile also lets in each creator's top posts below that bar, so pick Top 1% to keep only big breakouts.

Save the best ones
Click the bookmark on a video (or Save once it's open), then Save post to board.
To see what works for accounts your size, set Followers to your own range.
Study one creator
- Click the Creators tab and search a name or handle, or paste a profile URL. Needs Starter or above.
- Or click the creator's name on any video.
- Sort by Top outlier for their biggest breakouts. Then try Most shared.
What to look for
- The hook. Watch the first few seconds of 20 or 30 outliers back to back. The shapes repeat.
- Pacing. Compare the length and speed of cuts with the creator's normal videos.
- Sound. Note the sound when you save a video. Repeats across outliers are worth testing.
- Trends. A video riding a trend may never repeat. Study the hook, not the trend.
