Add notes to saved items

Add a note

   Open the item

   Click any saved post or link in your Library or on a board.

   Type your note

   Click Add a note… and write why you saved it. On a post, the box sits right above the post text. Some links show a small Add note button instead.

   Click away

   There's no save button. To edit, click the note. To remove it, clear the text.

The iOS and Android apps have the same note box on saved items.

Add a note while saving

The note is on the item as soon as it's saved.

Where notes show up

• Library card. A one-line preview shows under the card.
• Search. Library search matches words in your notes.
• Every board. The note belongs to the item, not the board. Put the item on three boards and all three show the same note.

For a back-and-forth with your team, use comments instead. A note is one short text box.
