Eden reads ebooks too. Save an EPUB and it lands in your Library with its cover, ready to open in a clean reflow reader and highlight as you go — on web and on your iPhone.
An EPUB is the standard ebook format, and Eden treats it as first-class reading material. When you save one, Eden pulls the book's cover out of the file and shows it as a cover card in your Library, right alongside your articles, PDFs, and saved posts. The book's text is also read and indexed, so it turns up in search and your chats can reference it.

Add the file
Drag an
.epubonto a board to upload it, or add it from the Library — the same way you'd add a PDF. On iPhone you can also send a book straight into Eden from Apple Books, Files, or a browser download using the share sheet. See saving from your iPhone. - 02
Watch for the cover
A moment after upload, the card shows the book's cover. If a book has no cover image, it shows a generic document tile instead — it still reads and highlights the same way.
Open the reader
EPUBs open straight into the reflow reader — there's no separate page view to toggle, because an ebook is already built to reflow. Open the book and Eden lays it out in clean editorial typography that follows your light or dark theme, with the chapters flowing one after another.

Open the book
Click the EPUB in your Library or on a board. It opens directly into the reader.

Read straight through
Scroll through the book chapter by chapter in comfortable, resizable-friendly type. On iPhone the reader is a full-screen reading view; tap the back arrow to leave.

Select to highlight
Select any passage and choose Highlight. The passage is saved and marked in the book.
