Set up an X automation

   Connect X

   Connect your X account in Settings → Social accounts.

   Allow DMs on X

   Click New automation, then X reply → DM. The first time, click Allow DMs on X and approve on X. Nothing gets disconnected, and your posting keeps working.

   Turn on auto add credits

   X automations need credits that refill on their own. In Settings → Usage, turn on Auto-refresh when I hit 10 credits or Auto-upgrade my plan when I run low on credits. Then click Check again.

   Pick posts, keywords, and your message

   Choose Every new post, My next post, or A specific post. For a specific post, pick one of your recent posts or paste its link. Add your Reply keywords, write the message, and add your link. Then click Create automation.

Only replies made after you create the automation count. Your own replies never trigger it.

Add one while you write a post

On the web, turn on X in the Publish tab. The X Auto-DM card shows on the right, under Each platform. Click Add.

• Pick This post, then Add to post. It turns on the moment this post goes live.
• Or pick Every new post to run it on each post you publish from now on.
• The card then shows Auto-DM on with your keyword. Click Edit to change it.
• If DMs or auto add credits aren't set up yet, the card shows Set up instead.

Who gets the DM

X only delivers DMs to people who follow you or have their DMs open. Everyone else is skipped, and skipped people cost nothing. Each automation's card shows how many people couldn't get DMs.

Links, products, and forms

The link field works like it does for Instagram:

• Track clicks sends a short edn.so link that counts clicks. Type a name after edn.so/ to pick your own.
• Pick a store product or a form instead of a link. Its sales show on the automation.

Limits

Once an account hits 50 DMs in a day, more replies that day are skipped.

If something's not working

What you see	Fix
Let Eden send DMs from your X account	Click Allow DMs on X and approve on X.
Turn on auto add credits first	Turn on auto-refresh or auto-upgrade in Settings → Usage, then Check again.
Paused with "need auto add credits on"	Auto add was turned off. Turn it back on, then open the automation and click Resume.
"X needs a quick reconnect"	Start a new X automation and click Allow DMs on X. Then Resume this one.
Paused (out of credits)	Add credits. It restarts on its own once you have them.
Someone replied but got nothing	They may not follow you or have DMs open, or they got this DM in the last 7 days.
