Scheduling

Connect your social accounts

Link X, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube in one step, connect Substack separately, and understand the requirements for each platform.

Before you can schedule posts, link the accounts you want to publish to. Most platforms connect together in a single step; Substack connects on its own. This guide covers how to link each one and the requirements to know up front.

Where to connect

Open Settings → Scheduling → Connected accounts. You'll see two groups:

  • Social accounts — X, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. These connect together in one step.
  • Substack — connects separately (it has no public API, so Eden publishes Substack from your browser). See Schedule Substack notes.

Connect X, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & YouTube

  1. 01

    Click “Connect accounts”

In Connected accounts, click Connect accounts. A secure window opens where you can link each network. You can link them all in one visit, or come back and add more later.

  2. 02

Log in on each platform's own screen

Each network shows its own official login (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.). Log in and approve the requested permissions. Already-linked networks show as Linked.

  3. 03

Close the window — Eden syncs automatically

When you close the connect window, Eden refreshes your connected accounts. Each linked network then appears with a green Connected badge and your handle. If one doesn't show up right away, click the refresh icon next to “Connect accounts.”

Platform requirements

  • X / Twitter — connects through X's official login. If X shows “Not available” on the connect screen, that's a setup state on our side rather than anything you did — reach out to support and we'll sort it. Schedule X posts →
  • LinkedIn — connect the personal profile or page you publish from on LinkedIn's login screen. Schedule LinkedIn posts →
  • Threads — links through your Meta login (often alongside Instagram). Schedule Threads posts →
  • TikTok — connect on TikTok's official login and approve content permissions. Schedule TikTok posts →
  • Facebook — connect a Facebook Page you manage (Pages only — personal profiles and Groups can't be connected, a Meta limitation). On Facebook's login, pick the Page you publish from and approve the permissions. See Schedule Facebook posts.
  • YouTube — connect your channel on Google's login and approve the permissions. Eden publishes Shorts (vertical videos) — long-form uploads aren't supported yet. See Schedule YouTube Shorts.
  • Substack — separate flow; see the Substack guide.

Removing or re-linking an account

To re-link (for example, after changing a password or enabling new permissions), click Connect accounts again and re-authorize the network — the new connection replaces the old one. If a network ever shows as needing attention, re-linking is the fix.

If something won't connect, the Scheduling troubleshooting guide covers the common platform quirks (especially Instagram and multi-account logins).
