Export your workspace

Download a zip of your notes, cards, saved links, highlights, and uploaded files.

Go to Settings → Workspace and click Export workspace at the bottom. When it's done, click Download zip. We also email you the link.

Start the export
Open Settings → Workspace, scroll to Export, and click Export workspace.

Wait or walk away
You'll see a live count of items. You can close the window. We email you a link when it's ready.

Download it
Click Download zip, or use the link in the email. Links expire after 7 days.

Each export replaces the last one. Run a new one anytime.

File or folder	What's in it
`documents/`	Each note as a markdown file, with title, dates, and tags at the top
`cards.md`	All your cards (sticky notes) in one markdown file
`links.csv`	Every saved link and social post: title, source URL, type, date saved, tags
`highlights/`	One markdown file per book or source, with your notes
`files/`	Your original uploads: images, PDFs, audio, video, EPUBs, and more
`export-info.txt`	A count of what was exported and a list of anything skipped

Items in Trash are left out.

You get back what you put in, not what Eden made from it.

Chats.
Board layouts. The items are there, but not where they sat on the board.
Tables.
Transcripts, reader views, and AI descriptions of saved links. You get the source URL instead.
Single files over 1 GB. They're listed in export-info.txt.

The Library holds every link, PDF, image, note, table, saved post, and highlight in your workspace. Boards are optional views on top.
