Head of Content: a free Claude workflow that runs your content week

Set up the free Head of Content workflow and Claude runs your week like an employee — grades last week against your baseline, plans this week on market evidence, drafts every post in your voice, and queues the drafts for your approval.

Head of Content is a free workflow that makes Claude run your content operation, not just talk about it. One run covers the whole job: it grades last week's posts against your own baseline, checks what your market is rewarding, plans your week to your cadence, and drafts every post in your voice straight into your Eden scheduler. Nothing publishes without you.

What a run covers

The job of a head of content is four loops, and a run does all four:

  • Review. Your real numbers from your connected accounts. If there was a plan last week, every slot gets graded honestly, and "you didn't post it" counts as a grade.
  • Strategy. What's breaking out in your niche right now, from Eden's index of millions of posts, each scored against its creator's own baseline. If you also run the Weekly Strategist, it reuses that memo instead of repeating the research.
  • Calendar. One slot per post in your cadence, each carrying its evidence: a receipt post, your own baseline data, or the honest label "experiment."
  • Production. Every approved slot written in full, in your voice, and saved as a draft in your Eden queue. You edit and approve in Eden.

There is exactly one pause mid-run: Claude shows you the week's plan and waits for your ok before drafting. You stay the editor in chief.

The fastest setup: one pasted line

Paste this into Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code):

Set up Eden's Head of Content workflow: fetch https://eden.so/skills/head-of-content/install.md and follow it.

Claude connects the Eden MCP if it isn't already, installs the workflow, and starts your first run — asking you to click only where it can't. No Eden account yet? Start free first, no card needed.

What a run looks like

  1. 01

Claude asks four questions (first run only)

What you make content about, which accounts are yours, your target cadence (it proposes one if you're not sure), and a few creators worth watching. One message, then it remembers.

  2. 02

    Claude reviews and plans

A few minutes of work: your analytics, last week's grades, the market check, then the plan — one line per slot. You say ok or edit it.

  3. 03

    Drafts land in your queue

Every approved post gets written in full, in your voice, and queued as a draft in Eden → Scheduling. The week report saves to your Head of content board. Want it every week? Say "every Monday at 7am, run my content week."

Between runs, text it like an employee

The workflow keeps a running week note, so any day you can say "swap Thursday's post," "why did the reel flop," or "draft one more about pricing." Claude updates the affected draft, keeps the record straight, and grades the change next week.

What it costs

The workflow is free and works with a free Eden account, though drafting into the scheduler needs a plan with scheduling. A run spends up to 12 Eden research calls, which use credits from your plan. If credits run out mid-run, Claude plans from what it found, says the plan is partial, and links you to top up.
