Schedule a post

   Write it

   Type in the editor on the left. The preview on the right shows how it will look.

   Pick platforms

   Click an account in the Post to row to turn it on or off. The ring around it fills as your post gets close to that platform's limit. Connect more in Settings → Social accounts. If none are connected yet, click Open scheduling settings.

   Pick a time

   Click Schedule. Choose a date and time, or Add to a queue slot. To send it right away, open the arrow next to Schedule and pick Publish now.

Publishing never costs credits.

You can also start a post from Quick capture. Pick Schedule a post or Publish drafts as the destination.

Change the wording for one platform

The row of pills above the preview has All, then one pill for each platform that's on.

• All edits the shared text that goes everywhere.
• Pick a platform's pill to edit just that platform's version. The editor switches to it.
• Under the preview, that platform's own settings show up, like Instagram music or a YouTube title.
• On All, click Main preview to pick which platform the preview shows.

The tabs at the top

Publish has three tabs.

Tab	What's there
Publish	The editor, the preview, and each platform's settings.
Scheduled	Your posts on a Week grid, with Drafts, Scheduled, and Sent in a side list.
Analytics	How your posts are doing. See Analytics.

Your content plan has its own page. Click Planner in the sidebar. See Plan your content.

See what's coming up

Open the Scheduled tab. The week shows as a calendar, with a side list on the right.

• Each post is a block at its time: the post on top, then the time and platforms.
• Teal blocks are coming up. Gray blocks went out and show their views. Amber blocks failed.
• Dashed boxes are open posting times. Drag a draft onto one, or click it to write a post.
• Rows from your planner with a post day this week show as dashed Planned cards under the day. Click one to open the Planner.
• Click a scheduled post to open it in Publish. Click a sent post to open its card in the side list.

The side list has three tabs: Drafts, Scheduled, and Sent.

• Scheduled starts with Attention needed for posts that failed, then each day's posts and open times.
• A failed post's card has Publish now and Reschedule.
• Hold ⌘ (or Ctrl) or Shift and click drafts to select several. A bar shows what you can do with them.

Click the side-panel icon at the top of the calendar to hide or show the side list.

To switch brands or schedules, use the brand and schedule name at the top right of Scheduled and Analytics, or at the start of the Post to row in Publish. See Manage multiple brands.

A sent post's menu has View on links to the live post.

In Publish, the Post, Article, and Story switch above the editor changes what you're making. Article shows when Substack or X is connected. Story shows when Instagram is. See Schedule Instagram Stories.

Supported platforms

X, Threads, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook (Pages), YouTube (Shorts), and Substack. Substack publishes through your own devices, like Chrome with the Eden extension. See Schedule Substack notes.

Edit or cancel a scheduled post

• Open a post's menu for Edit, Duplicate, Copy text, Move to draft, or Delete.
• After you edit, click Update at the top. It keeps the same time.
• Click Discard changes to put it back the way it was.

Post on the $5 plan

The $5 Discover plan can schedule 3 posts in total. Starter and up have no limit.

• A post counts once, however many platforms it goes to. Publish now counts too.
• Drafts don't count until you schedule them.
• Deleting a post doesn't give the slot back.
• The line above the editor shows how many are left, like 2 of 3 posts left on the $5 plan.
• Once all 3 are used, click Go unlimited to move to Starter.

Add automations

Automations sit right under the editor. They run after the post goes live.

Automation	Platforms	What it does
Auto first comment	X, LinkedIn, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok	Posts a comment right away, after a delay, or once the post hits N likes.
Auto-retweet	X	Reposts your post 2 to 8 hours later, up to 3 times.

Other handy tools

• Add spacing between lines puts a blank line between each line of your post. Click again to undo.
• Turn this post into an image makes a picture from your text. See Turn a post into an image.
