Idea Engine is a free workflow that answers "what should I post today?" with actual posts: 5 to 8 idea cards, each with a hook written in your voice, the format to use, proof the shape works, and the material you already saved to build it from. Pick one and Claude drafts it into your scheduler.
Where the ideas come from
Every run looks in three places at once:
- Your workspace. The captures, highlights, and notes you saved to Eden. You saved them on purpose; they're the substance of the best cards.
- Your market. Posts breaking out in your niche right now, this week first.
- Tangents. Creators just outside your niche whose winning formats transfer to your topics.
An idea only makes the cut when at least two of those three back it. Claude also remembers past runs, your queue, and what you already published, so it never pitches the same idea twice.

You get the cards, then a draft
5 to 8 idea cards land styled in chat and save to your Idea engine board. Pick one and Claude writes the full draft into your Eden scheduler — a draft only, nothing publishes without you. Want it every morning? Say "every weekday at 8am, run my idea engine."
Nothing saved in Eden yet?
It still works: the engine leans on the market and tangent lanes and says plainly that your workspace came up empty. But the best cards come from your own saved material, so the more you capture into Eden — the mobile app, the browser extension, email-in — the better tomorrow's ideas get.
What it costs
The workflow is free and works on Eden's free plan. A run spends up to 15 Eden research calls, which use credits from your plan. If credits run out mid-run, Claude delivers the cards it can stand behind, says the set is partial, and links you to top up.
