Short-Form Specialist: a free Claude workflow for your daily posts

Set up the free Short-Form Specialist workflow and Claude drafts 1 to 3 posts a day in your voice, from your weekly ideas and what's moving in your niche, and saves them to your Eden Scheduler as drafts.

Short-Form Specialist is a free workflow that writes your daily posts. It learns your brand and your best posts once, then each morning takes a topic, researches your niche and your own winners, shows you five angles, drafts the ones you pick in your voice, and saves them to your Eden Scheduler as drafts. You edit and pick the time. It never publishes.

Where the posts come from

Every run reads the same three things before writing a word:

  • Your voice. A short Voice and pillars note Claude built from your brand strategy and your best posts: who you write for, your pillars, your vocabulary, how you write, and the hook shapes that already beat your baseline.
  • Today's topic. The newest Weekly ideas note from the Weekly Content Strategist when you have one. Otherwise what you bring, your recent saves, or a quick market sweep.
  • Your niche this week. Posts in your niche beating their creator's baseline right now, read for their shape. Claude borrows the skeleton of a hook, never its sentences.

A Post log on the same board records every post it hands you, so no angle or opening repeats inside a week.

The fastest setup: one pasted line

Paste this into Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code):

Set up Eden's Short-Form Specialist workflow: fetch https://eden.so/skills/short-form-specialist/install.md and follow it.

Claude connects the Eden MCP if it isn't already, installs the workflow, and starts your first run, asking you to click only where it can't. No Eden account yet? Start free first, no card needed.

What a run looks like

  1. 01

Claude learns your brand and your winners (first run only)

It looks for your brand strategy in Eden before asking anything. Then it reads your analytics or your public posts, asks which account to save drafts to and how many posts a day you want, and writes the Voice and pillars note on a Short-Form Specialist board.

  2. 02

    Claude shows you five angles

Each angle comes from a different move (hidden mechanism, useful distinction, tradeoff, and more), with the claim and the proof it needs. Pick one or several. On a scheduled run it picks the top angles itself.

  3. 03

Your posts land in your scheduler as drafts

One finished post per angle, native to the platform, each standing alone. Approved posts save to your Eden Scheduler with no publish time. Open Scheduler, edit, pick the time. Want it every morning? Say "every weekday at 7am, write today's posts."

Other things you can ask it

  • "Turn this piece into ten posts, each a different angle."
  • "Adapt this X post for LinkedIn."
  • "Fix this draft" (paste it; you get the two or three changes that matter and one revised post).
  • "Write today's plug" (the one-line reply linking your newsletter under your best post of the day).

The same method inside Eden

Short-Form Specialist is also a Custom AI in the One-Human Business kit. Pick the Custom AI when you want it inside Eden with memory and morning routines built in and no Claude plan needed. Pick the workflow when you want it in your own Claude, ChatGPT, or MCP agent, with files you can read and edit.

What it costs

The workflow is free and works on Eden's free plan. A daily run spends at most 10 Eden calls including the saves, and the first-run setup up to 8 more. Research calls use credits from your plan. If credits run out mid-run, Claude drafts from your own material, says so, and links you to top up.

Where to go next

  • New to the Eden MCP? Start with the quick start.
  • The Weekly Strategist workflow picks the week's direction; the Short-Form Specialist writes the days.
  • Want idea cards instead of finished posts? The Idea Engine workflow hands you 5 to 8 ideas with hooks and leaves the writing to you.
