Free Claude workflow

Turn Claude into your idea engine.

A free workflow that fuses your saved ideas, this week's breakout posts, and formats from outside your niche into things you can post today.

No other skill gives Claude this: your own saved material sitting next to millions of outlier-scored viral posts, in one engine.

Three Steps To Today's Ideas

Set it up once. Get ideas any morning you ask, or every morning on schedule.

  1. Connect Eden to Claude

One click opens Claude's settings with Eden already filled in. Sign in, approve, done. Claude can now see your saved material and millions of viral posts. No Eden account yet? The sign-in creates one on the spot, free, no card.

  2. Add the workflow

Copy the one-shot prompt and paste it into Claude. That's the whole install: the three lanes, the fuse rules, and the card format in one message. Planning to run it every morning? Download the skill instead and Claude keeps the full playbook loaded.

    Download the skillor
  3. Ask for today's ideas

Say "run my idea engine". Claude asks three quick questions about your topics, mines your saves and your market for a few minutes, and hands you today's cards. Pick one and it lands in your scheduler as a draft.

The problem

You Have Ideas All Day Except When You Open The Composer

You save posts all week. You highlight articles. You leave half-thoughts in your notes app. Then you sit down to post and draw a blank anyway.

So you fall back on the usual moves. Sound familiar?

  • You ask AI for content ideas and get the same list as everyone else
  • You scroll your own niche for inspiration and end up posting an echo
  • You finally use a saved idea a week after your feed moved on
  • Your best material dies in bookmarks you never reopen

The right idea for today is usually something you already saved.

The fix

So We Gave Claude Three Places To Look

Eden holds your saved material: every capture, highlight, and note you've collected. It also indexes millions of viral posts across seven platforms, each scored by how hard it beat that creator's own baseline.

This workflow points Claude at both, plus a third place nobody checks: creators one door outside your niche, whose formats your audience hasn't seen yet.

The best cards sit at the intersection: your substance, a proven shape, a live wave.

Every morning, Claude
  1. Mines your captures, highlights, and notes for material you already believe in
  2. Sweeps your topics for posts breaking out this week, not evergreen filler
  3. Pulls breakout formats from tangential creators and translates them to your topic
  4. Fuses it into 5 to 8 idea cards with hooks written in your voice
  5. Turns your pick into a draft sitting in your Eden scheduler
What Claude can suddenly do
  • Search millions of viral posts by topic, follower tier, and outlier multiplier
  • Search your own captures, highlights, and notes by meaning
  • Break down the formats behind any creator's breakouts
  • Save runs to your workspace and drafts to your scheduler

Every card carries a receipt and a source. No card earns its place on vibes.

The cards

What Lands Every Morning

5 to 8 cards. Each one complete enough to start drafting in ten minutes.

Hooks that sound like you

Claude reads your Eden voice profile before writing a word. Every card opens with 1 or 2 lines ready to paste, in your vocabulary and cadence, not growth-account voice.

Proof the shape works

Every card cites a real breakout: the handle, the platform, how hard it beat that creator's baseline, and what it proves. Ideas without receipts get cut before you see them.

Built from what you already saved

Cards point back at your own captures, highlights, and notes by name, with what to pull from each. The stuff you saved on purpose finally turns into posts.

From card to draft in one word

Pick a card and Claude writes the full draft in your voice, then saves it to your Eden scheduler. Drafts only: no publish time, nothing goes live without you.

Yours In Two Minutes

Copy one prompt and paste it into Claude. That's the whole setup.

Quickstart: paste into Claude

Copy the prompt below and paste it into Claude (claude.ai or Claude Code). It walks you through connecting Eden, asks three quick questions about your topics, then mines your saves, your market, and your tangents and hands you today's idea cards. Nothing to install.

You are my idea engine. Hand me 5 to 8 ideas I could post TODAY: not themes, not strategy, concrete post ideas with hooks ready to paste. Use the Eden MCP (tools named eden_) for everything. If you don't have Eden tools, don't run: walk me through connecting instead. On claude.ai or Claude Desktop, send me this link to add Eden with one click (https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Eden&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fmcp.eden.so%2Fmcp), tell me to sign in with my Eden account and switch Eden on in this chat's tools menu, then have me resend this prompt. In Claude Code, give me: claude mcp add --transport http eden https://mcp.eden.so/mcp. If I don't have an Eden account yet, it's free to start at https://app.eden.so. Once you're running, work straight through without asking me questions mid-run.

SETUP. Look for a board in my Eden workspace called "Idea engine". If it exists, read the note "Idea Engine settings" plus my last 3 run notes on that board; those notes are your memory of every idea already pitched. If the board doesn't exist, this is our first run: ask me three questions in one message (what I make content about, 2 to 5 topics; which accounts are mine, platform and handle; 2 to 4 creators I admire OUTSIDE my niche, optional), resolve every handle with eden_resolve_creator, create the board, and save my answers as a note titled "Idea Engine settings". Every run: check eden_list_scheduled_posts so you never pitch what's already queued.

THE THREE LANES. Budget: at most 15 research calls total, spent on different angles, never on rewording one query. Lane 1, my workspace (up to 3 searches): eden_search_captures, eden_search_highlights, and eden_find_workspace_items on my topics. What I saved is the substance; note each item's title. Lane 2, the market (up to 6 eden_search_social_content calls, scope global, orderBy outlier, queries from my topics): a TODAY lane (since week, no tier filter, minOutlierScore 5) and a PROOF lane (creatorTier mid or macro, since month, minOutlierScore 3). Read the biggest anomalies in full with eden_read_social_post (up to 4 reads) and work out WHY each popped: the hook, the format, the topic, or the timing. One-off news, drama, and politics spikes are noise; discard them. Lane 3, tangents (up to 2 eden_analyze_creator pulls, since month): creators outside my niche, from my settings or an adjacent-topic creator a search surfaced. Name the FORMAT behind their breakouts in plain words; their format plus my topic is the idea.

FUSE. A card earns its place by standing on at least two of three legs: my saved material, a proven format, a live market signal. Cut one-leg ideas. Cards never share a receipt or a source. Kill anything matching my last 3 runs, my scheduler queue, or what I already published. Keep 5 to 8; if only 3 clear the bar, deliver 3 and say so.

THE CARDS. Plain spoken language, short sentences, no analyst jargon, no em dashes. Hooks in MY voice from my Eden voice profile, never generic growth-account voice. Never reuse a run of 8 or more words from any receipt. Each card, in this order: the idea as one literal 8 to 20 word claim a cold reader understands; Hook (1 to 2 opening lines ready to paste); Make (format plus platform, one line); Receipt (@handle, platform, outlier multiple, reach, one line on what it proves, exactly as the tools returned it); Your material (my saved capture, highlight, or note by title and what to pull from it; if a card has no workspace leg, say what to draw on instead); Why today (one line on the live signal). Never invent posts, creators, metrics, or saved items. If my workspace lane is empty, say so, lean on the other lanes, and tell me once that saving things to Eden makes tomorrow's ideas better.

DELIVER. If you can render an artifact or write a file, produce the cards as one clean styled document rather than chat text. Always save the markdown to a new note on my "Idea engine" board titled "Ideas - " plus today's date; that note is tomorrow's memory. In chat, close with two lines: which card you'd post first and why, then one offer: want me to draft any of these into my Eden scheduler? If I pick one, write the full draft in my voice, show me, apply one round of feedback, and save it with eden_create_scheduling_draft. Drafts only, no publish time; never call eden_schedule_post or eden_publish_post_now unless I explicitly ask. If a tool returns status "out_of_credits", stop research calls, deliver the cards you can stand behind, say the set is partial, and give me the upgradeUrl from that error in one line.

Running it every morning? Install the skill

The same method as an installable skill. Claude loads it on its own when you say the words, keeps the full lane playbook and the designed card template on hand, and remembers every idea it already pitched you.

  1. 1. Download it

A few plain text files: the three lanes, the fuse rules, and the card design. Read them, edit them, it's yours.

    Download the workflow
  2. 2. Hand it to Claude

On claude.ai: open Settings, then Capabilities, then Skills, and upload the file you just downloaded.

In Claude Code: unzip it into the skills folder (~/.claude/skills).

  3. 3. Say the words

Claude asks three quick questions about your topics, then hands you today's cards.

Questions

Answered before you ask.

Do I need an Eden account?

Yes, and free to start is fine. The market research runs on Eden's index of millions of viral posts, and your saved captures, highlights, and notes live in your Eden workspace. Connect the Eden MCP to Claude once and the workflow finds the tools by itself.

I haven't saved anything to Eden yet. Does it still work?

Yes. The engine runs on the market and tangent lanes and says plainly that your workspace came up empty. But the best cards come from your own saved material, so the more you capture into Eden (the mobile app, the browser extension, and email-in all feed it), the better tomorrow's ideas get.

How is this different from the Weekly Strategist?

The Strategist runs weekly and tells you where to aim: findings, a scoreboard, one bet. The Idea Engine runs any morning and hands you the posts themselves: concrete ideas with hooks written, ready to draft today. They stack well: the Strategist picks the direction, the Engine fills the days.

Will it post anything to my accounts?

No. The workflow writes drafts only: no publish time, nothing queued, nothing sent. Publishing always stays your explicit call.

Which Claude does this work with?

Any Claude that can connect to an MCP server: claude.ai on a paid plan, Claude Desktop, or Claude Code. The skill installs on claude.ai and Claude Code. The one-shot prompt works anywhere, including other MCP clients.

What does a run cost?

The workflow is free. A run spends up to 15 Eden research calls, which use credits from your Eden plan, plus your normal Claude usage. If you run out of credits mid-run, Claude delivers the cards it can stand behind, says the set is partial, and links you straight to your Eden billing page to top up.

Can I change how it works?

Yes. It's a folder of plain text files. Raise the budgets, add a lane, change the card anatomy, make it weekly instead of daily. It's your engine now.
