Kit pricing in 2026: every plan and list size (formerly ConvertKit)

Kit (formerly ConvertKit) pricing for Free, Creator, and Pro, paid monthly or yearly, at 1,000 to 25,000 subscribers, plus the fee on sales and how it compares.

Dan Koe··Updated ·7 min read

Kit, the email tool that used to be called ConvertKit, is free up to 10,000 subscribers for broadcasts, forms, and landing pages. Sequences and automations need Creator: $39 a month at 1,000 subscribers and $139 at 10,000 paid monthly, or $33 and $116 a month paid yearly. Pro adds a referral program and unlimited users, from $79 a month ($66 paid yearly). Kit takes 3.5% + 30¢ when you sell through it, and there are no sending limits on any plan.

Full disclosure: we make Eden, a creator store with email marketing built in, and it connects to Kit. Every Kit number here comes from kit.com/pricing, checked on October 7, 2026. Kit prices by subscribers, so check its slider before you budget.

Kit's three plans

Creator$39/mo$390 a year ($33/mo)Creators who want sequences and automations
Pro$79/mo$790 a year ($66/mo)Teams, and newsletters that grow by referrals

Kit is the new name for ConvertKit. Same company, same product, new name.

Kit's pricing page opens with yearly billing on, so the price you see first ($33 for Creator) is the yearly one. Paying yearly saves 17%. Kit moves you to the next price on its own as your list grows. Kit sometimes runs a first-year discount on Pro. We left it out.

What Kit costs on top

  • Selling. Kit takes 3.5% + 30¢ per sale on every plan, with card processing included. On a $100 product that's $3.80.
  • Sending. Nothing. Kit doesn't charge per email.
  • Trial. Creator and Pro have a 14-day free trial, and you don't need a card.

Is Kit's free plan enough?

For a lot of creators, yes. If you send a weekly newsletter to fewer than 10,000 people and don't need emails that go out on their own, Kit Free costs nothing. Few tools give you that much for free.

You outgrow it when you want:

  • A welcome sequence, or any email that sends on a timer after someone joins. That needs Creator.
  • Automations that tag people, branch, or move them between sequences. Creator again.
  • A second person on the account. Free has one user.
  • More than 10,000 subscribers.

Is Kit Creator worth it?

If email is how you grow, usually yes. Unlimited visual automations, a big app list, and no sending limits are hard to beat at $39 a month for a small list.

It gets harder to justify when:

  • Your list grows past 10,000. Creator is $139 a month at 10,000 and $199 at 25,000, paid monthly.
  • You mostly sell your own products. You pay Kit for email and a store somewhere else, and the two have to be wired together so buyers stop getting the pitch.
  • You only send broadcasts. Then the free plan already does the job up to 10,000.

10,000$139$139$110$79
25,000$199$199$270$114

Kit, beehiiv, and Mailchimp price by how many people are on your list. Eden prices by how many emails you send, so the Eden column is for one email a week. beehiiv is free up to 2,500 subscribers and Mailchimp's free plan covers 250 contacts. See beehiiv pricing and Kit vs beehiiv for more.

Where Eden fits

Eden is a creator store with email marketing built in. Your courses, downloads, coaching, and calls sell from the same place your emails go out, so a sequence can start when someone buys and stop pitching people who already own the product.

Eden prices email by sends, not by list size:

  • Starter, $29 a month: broadcasts, 10,000 contacts, 10,000 sends a month.
  • Pro, $79 a month: adds sequences, checkout recovery, and deadline offers, with 50,000 contacts and 50,000 sends.
  • Max, $199 a month: 150,000 contacts and 200,000 sends.
  • Extra sends, only if you turn them on: 10,000 a month for $10, 50,000 for $35, 100,000 for $55, 300,000 for $75, and cheaper per send from there.

Kit Creator has sequences, so the fair match is Eden Pro. Here's how they compare with sequences on both, paid monthly:

Your listHow often you emailEden ProKit Creator
10,000Once a week$79$139
25,000Once a week$114$199
25,000Twice a week$154$199
1,000Once a week$79$39
10,000Every day$154$139
25,000Every day$229$199

So Eden costs less if you email a list of 10,000 or more about once a week and sell your own products. Eden's price also covers your store, courses, coaching, calls, and AI credits. Eden takes 5% of each sale (2% on Max), plus Stripe's fee.

Kit costs less when:

  • You only send broadcasts to under 10,000 people. Kit Free is $0. Eden Starter is $29.
  • Your list is small. At 1,000 subscribers, Kit Creator is $39 and Eden Pro is $79.
  • You email every day. At 10,000 people, daily email is $139 on Kit Creator and $154 on Eden Pro.
  • You pay yearly. Kit's yearly price is about 17% lower, so check both.

You don't have to pick one. Connect Kit in Your store → Integrations, and buyers, free claims, and page signups from your store are added to Kit. Keep your newsletter in Kit and let Eden send the sales emails. See Eden vs Kit.

Where Eden falls short

Eden has no recommendations or sponsorships, and its A/B tests cover broadcast subject lines only, not content. Kit connects to over 100 apps; Eden connects to Kit, beehiiv, GoHighLevel, Substack, and Zapier. If those matter more than the store, Kit is the better email tool. More options are in Kit alternatives.
