Adding creators as sources
Attach any creator Eden can index and choose what their material is for — ideas, voice, or research. Pattern study with visible sources, never impersonation.
A creator source connects someone's public posts to your Custom AI as reference material. You choose what it's for: their ideas, their voice, or as research. It's how you build an AI around specific experts instead of the internet's average opinion.
The people you learn from are a kind of knowledge. A marketer studies certain operators, a writer certain stylists, a learner certain teachers. Creator sources let you put those specific minds inside the room your Custom AI works in.
The three roles
When you attach a creator, you pick what their material is used for:
- Ideas — learn their recurring arguments, frameworks, and mental models. The AI can reference how they think about a topic without copying how they write.
- Voice — study their linguistic patterns: cadence, vocabulary, structure, what they never do. Used for style guidance when you're drafting.
- Research — consult their posts when your question makes them relevant, like citing a well-organized archive.
The default is ideas + research. Voice is a deliberate choice, because studying how someone writes is different from studying what they know.
How to add one
In the Custom AI's knowledge section, choose Add a creator and search. Any creator Eden can index works — from YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and the other platforms Eden tracks. Pick the role, and Eden studies a representative sample of their work, not just their viral hits (reach measures what spread, not what's most like them).
Honest by design
- Answers grounded in a creator's material show the source posts — you can click through and check.
- The AI never pretends to be the creator: no invented biography, no first-person claims their material doesn't support, no implied endorsement.
- Attaching a creator doesn't touch their account. It reads what they published publicly, the same material you could read yourself — the AI just holds all of it at once.
What each audience does with this
- Learners — attach a teacher whose thinking you want to absorb and use the AI as a mentor: ask questions, get answers grounded in their actual material.
- Creators — attach two or three stylists you admire as voice references while your own voice develops — see writing in a creator's voice.
- Marketers — attach the sharpest operators in your client's niche as an ideas source, so brainstorms start from proven angles.
- Creatives — attach the artists whose taste you're studying and interrogate the patterns across their whole body of work.
Use case: write with a creator's voice
Study how a great writer actually works — their hooks, cadence, and structure — and draft with those patterns while your own voice develops.
Use case: a mentor grounded in someone's real ideas
Turn a creator's body of work into someone you can talk to. Ask questions, get answers grounded in what they actually published, with the sources shown.
